    Observation!!!
    If two solfa notes down gives the alto sound? Then when finding the alto of "re"(soprano) it is going to be "do" and when finding alto of "mi"(soprano) it's also "do"? Or is the higher do that ends the solfas (do re mi fa so la ti "do") ignored when doing this making the "re" to be "ti"?

    • @THEVOCALLEXICON
      @THEVOCALLEXICON  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi thanks for your question. When the soprano is "re" the alto below still maintain that gap between the notes by going to the "ti" or "la" in the lower octave. I hope this answered your question.

    Dear sir , what is second soprano in harmony singing? Any register second-ing the main soprano or how is it different from tenor or alto? Can you do the video on that please. I learnt a lot from you sir. I am beritenor vocal type.

    • @THEVOCALLEXICON
      @THEVOCALLEXICON  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Mezzo-Sopranos, in choirs are usually the ones referred to as Second Sopranos or First Alto (soprano 2 or alto 1), and they often have the middle line and so on.

    • @Bando.Lethwei
      @Bando.Lethwei Před 6 měsíci

      Thanks for explaining sir. i understand the difference now. If Main Soprano ( lead ) is high , can i back her with an octave below tenor harmony sir as my vocal range is limited and can't hit super high notes. Will it still be call tenor or something else in harmony singing? If lead ( soprano ) is singing low, can I back her with an octave up alto n will it still be class as alto or something else sir? Thanks. 🙏

  • @emmanueljoheobe5630
    @emmanueljoheobe5630 Před 2 měsíci +1

    Alto is a complete note below Melody. What about tenor sir?

    • @THEVOCALLEXICON
      @THEVOCALLEXICON  Před 2 měsíci

      Alto is below the melody and tenor is below the alto. You can also swap them around. Watch this video for more insight czcams.com/video/y4bTF8e9BPE/video.html
