Vintage Thorens TD160 motor bearing knock.. SRM modification

There wa an occasional knock from the drive motor so fitted the SRM thrust bearing modification which appears to have remedied the problem.

Don't use Molly grease it's not suitable for yellow metals it will cause pitting it degrades the bronze or brass bearing in the motor use an synthetic upg grease instead tack It Off clean it with a bit of WD-40 on a rag and then get ultra performance grease
