I just pulled my Honda EM600 out of the garage today. I got it from my father about 15 years ago and it has sat in the garage since then. He bought it Oct. 22nd 1983. I pulled the cord a few times and had good compression. Turned the switch to on, pulled the cord and it started right up. Then I powered it down, emptied the old fuel still in it. Restarted the engine and ran it out of old fuel in a few minutes. The old air filter was total trash and will be replaced, maybe a new spark plug and some maintenance. You are right, it is HEAVY. I have the manual and original wires and tool.
Hi there, I have the same generator, sometimes it starts right up, but then when i turn it off and try to start it in the same day, it doesnt start up. Also, what size socket for that spark plug? Thanks!
