Comedian Nate Bargatze has travelled to Australia from the U.S. for the first time, and he tells why he's been shocked by everyone having Aussie accents.
I watch an unhealthy amount of standup. I don’t seek out “clean” comedians, I watch them all. Nate isn’t one of the best “clean” comics. He’s one of the best working comics, period. And that he seems like such a genuine and nice human on top of it is just a bonus. Love his stuff
Dave Coulier is another clean comedian. He did stand up at my college, and was hilarious. It's nice to watch standup in the same room as my young kids without having to worry about cussing every 5 minutes.
I just found this guy , Nate, a few days ago and I can't get enough of his awesome comedy. He puts me in the best mood ever I only wish I had heard of him during COVID. He's SO FUNNY 😂😂😂
What’s remarkable to me about Nate Bargatze is he displays many of the tropes that would usually make me think the worst of other Americans and yet he does it with such an innocence and enthusiasm that I find it utterly charming.
@@dcnats92 exactly right. The American who travels to a new country and has their first meal at McDonalds is the kind of behaviour that would grate in normal circumstances but he does it with a charm and innocence that makes it inoffensive and funny.
Nate Bargatze has become my favorite comedian. I love his delivery. And I grew up with the likes of Red Foxx, Richard Pryor, Don Rickles, Eddie Murphy. Etc
Go Nate!! He has come a long way and was underground for a long time. He is finally getting recognition for all his hard work. Check out his 1st stand-up comedy albums like "Full-time Magic" and "Yelled at by a Clown".
I'm an American that was fortunate enough to live in Townsville for about a year in 2005. Loved living there. The food was just great everywhere. So were the people. I wish it was not so far away from the US.
Nate is great! Great Nate! Aussie interviews mostly consist of soooo what do you think of us, are we one of the cool kids how do we compare, please tell us we are ok!
And your a daughter Dad too.😊😊Wow! You are the kit, cat & kaboodle! Lucky girl! You guys have So much fun! This probably was last year…right? Ima go take a nap.😂😂
Australians are so friendly compared to Americans. They do party hardy! I went with a group and left the bar at 6:00 AM! I couldn't believe the bars stay open that late! Went to an apartment, and I fell asleep around 8:00 am. Woke up a couple of hours later, and they were still going! 😯 The thing I found to be funny was not the Australian accents, it was the Chinese immigrants with Chinese accents mixed WITH Australian accents! 😄
I hope the World know there is a Lot more of us Nate’s in America than those fancy know and done everything fellers, must of us are just trying to make it, we don’t hate anybody or think we’re better than anyone else and we just get up every morning and try more times than not we fail, but we go out again and again and again.
@@violentzeh At 1:20 he talks about how at home he's only used to hearing one australian accent at a time and implies that it's overwhelming to be surrounded by so many at once
Most foul mouthed comics seem lazy to me. I do enjoy a blue joke IF it is funny but it is not that common. Nate is one of a kind talent. That he seems genuinely nice is the cherry on top.
When they showed surprise about Nate's father being a clown, my first thought was "have they seen a single show?" "does Australia get Netflix or CZcams?" "what's happening right now?". If you get a one sentence briefing about who you are interviewing it would be "Nate is a American comedian and his father use to be a clown".

I really wish to hear more material from him. I searched out all the videos and watched them already.
Watching comedy is extremely healthy

Ya, I don't care much about how clean or not clean a comedian is. Just be funny. And he is one of the funniest.
Yes! Agreed! I honestly didn't even catch on that he was clean until he started talking about it on the Podcast - that's how good he is!
Love Nate's humor...clean, timeless, and hilarious.
Is it just me ladies or would yoll agree he has gotten better looking with age? And so hilarious. Gotta love it.
Absolutely
Yes he has
Yup!
My gf and I both agree. He's so clean cut and cute.
LOL, absolutely he went from looking like a pudgy little kid to a grown a$$ man. I love his humor he is fantastic.
Absolutely love Nate. I never have to cringe when he is speaking.
"Nicest man in stand up" basically sums it up. Can't wish enough good things for this guy. His daughter is very lucky.

Chefs kiss. Amazing description.
@@geoffschnoogs6888 Yeah, he only eats McDonalds ironically.
@@geoffschnoogs6888 regardless, he still pulls it off in a way that's not tired or grating or uncouth.

It's because he's humble and self aware. Probably represents the silent majority of folks in the US tbh.
Nate Bargatze has become my favorite comedian. I love his delivery. And I grew up with the likes of Red Foxx, Richard Pryor, Don Rickles, Eddie Murphy. Etc
What makes Nate so funny is how much he makes fun of himself. He’s fantastic
I love Nate's take on life
I can count on one hand the times I’ve laughed so hard my cheeks hurt…and Nate’s “Be Funny” tour in Fort Worth is one of them. He is HILARIOUS!!!!!
Love Nate! He deserves all the success he's having!
I watch everything Nate. He is my new favorite! Love him!
Mine too
Where are these men? Clean, pure, honest and funny! Love. love!
Were found mostly in baptist churches in the SE part of the US.
In Australia they introduce him to their friends like “That’s Nate, mate.”
Go Nate!! He has come a long way and was underground for a long time. He is finally getting recognition for all his hard work. Check out his 1st stand-up comedy albums like "Full-time Magic" and "Yelled at by a Clown".

Helloooooo Folks!
Nate does a great live show. When he was in Richmond, VA for Mother’s Day, his dad did part of the show. He was hilarious!
No way! Did he tell jokes or do magic tricks? I'm so jealous you got to see that!
Nate is the best!
Nate gives a great interview❤
I'm an American that was fortunate enough to live in Townsville for about a year in 2005. Loved living there. The food was just great everywhere. So were the people. I wish it was not so far away from the US.
Nates just the absolute best and still so underrated
A lot of standup guys do sitcoms. Do you think he should do one?

I love nate! You make me laugh! Bless you!!
Holy ambassador of McDonald’s, Batman! 😆 He really does love that place.
Take australia by storm Nate ❣️
I’m a huge fan of Nate. So much so that I watched this clip despite it being on the most hideous show on Australian television.
Nate's never recovered from the Happy Meal trauma 🤣🤣
I can imagine he buys himself 10 Happy Meals every time. “Who doesn’t have a Happy Meal NOW!? 😭😭”
I love Tennessee. ❤ 😊M

❤love ya Nate!
Nate is the best
Nate for President
Awesome interview!!!😮😮
There is something almost childlike about Nate, (in a good way), he is soooo funny!!
He is adorable!!!
McDonalds is my favorite restaurant!! So good to hear of another fan. Generally it’s a lonely walk that involves lot of sneaking around.
Love him…….
He's been killing it lately
Hey bear 🐻 We miss you on Nateland. Have fun ❤
melban nate nailed it

Nate is great! Great Nate! Aussie interviews mostly consist of soooo what do you think of us, are we one of the cool kids how do we compare, please tell us we are ok!
Nate is awesome! I have a lot of friends that are comics, and I haven’t met Nate yet, but I would absolutely love to!
If you like Nate, you’ll love the Nateland podcast. I’ve listened to a lot of comedy podcasts and his is, by far, the funniest.
The side McChicken!!! Omg I feel seen.
😮gotta see his daughter!, great father / daughter moment.😊
I apologise on behalf of Australia that one of the only ways available to plug your shows in Australia is to go on The Project.
This guy needs his own sitcom. He is the next Seinfeld!
😂❤🎉love this guy
Hilarious 😂
And your a daughter Dad too.😊😊Wow! You are the kit, cat & kaboodle! Lucky girl! You guys have So much fun! This probably was last year…right? Ima go take a nap.😂😂
August in Tennessee is brutal indeed.
❤
Yay, no cursing and vulgarity and HE IS FUNNY!!!!!
I feel like you’re a nugget man idk why that was so funny

_"You ever been yelled at by a clown? Because I have."_ 🤣🤣🤣
He can make anyone laugh.
Love this guy ... you can tell he is shocked he has made it do big
I'm American and I have never heard of this guy?
Nothing mentioned about accents tho😂😂😂😂
I was thinking the same thing. I even watched the last 15 seconds of silence, just to make sure.

I wonder how he did with Australian customs, with his passport saying Nathaniel and his license saying Nathan.
Scottish and Australian accents always sound to me like the speakers are doing it on purpose
I smell a McDonald’s ad campaign in his future. 😂
Im a Taco Bell man myself!
"I thought airplanes where invented in the 90s." is mad funny. Ironically, it didn't land.
