How do you style your hair for sleep to protect your curl? I usually braid but then my hair just has the wave pattern left from the braid rather than my natural curl.
How often do you wash your hair?
Smh at the weird ass comments about your hair not really being curly LOL what on earth is the matter with people? I have hair similar to yours, a bit more ringletty and thicker but very similar and some people are acting like it’s some sort of competition or something like either your hair is curly or it’s not. There’s a huge spectrum of texture and wave and curl patterns and most people have several different patterns all over their head. For me the canopy is not as curly as the underneath but if you lift the top part of my hair you see a lot of ringlets underneath. Does that mean I don’t have curly hair or I’m faking it? People seriously need to get a grip here. This video was so relaxing It almost put me to sleep in a good way, I love the way you filmed it! what kind of plants that require no sunlight can you put in a shower? cause theres no sun in a bathroom and i thought plants need that
Pandora hi late reply but all plants do need some kind of sunlight, but pothos (which is what is in her bathroom) can tolerate lower light

Hey girly love this! Be carefull wih anything that is marketed as argan oil 98% of the time its not. Argan oil only grows in a very specific place is morocco and is being hand made by a few women who pluk the argan and oil it. Im moroccan and even for us its super difficult to get pure argan oil. So when all these products are being selled as moroccan argan oil its most likely a complete scam. Idk what is in that oil check the ingredients xo

also curious to see how she sleeps with it. my hair can be very silky and smooth but after i sleep it gets nappy and frizzy? like ridiculously? almost disgusting? lmaoo but on her 2nd day she didn’t look that bad so i’m curious
jonah I always braid my hair before I sleep. It helps reduce frizz and tangles, and will help with breakage. Then as far as getting my waves back in the morning instead of the weird braid ones, I spray it down with some water and scrunch it a bit, and then use a shine spray if I’m looking kind of dry.
I used this exact routine today and i got the prettiest curls i’ve had in a couple years. i appreciate this.

I just tried putting product in my hair whilst i’m the shower so it’s soaking wet and curls are forming from nowhere! They’re so defined too! Now i’m sat with a T-shirt on my head waiting for it to dry 😂 Thank you Gemary, just the video I needed 🙏♥️

For a refresh I usually use a leave-in conditioner with the spray bottle. That's interesting you use gel. I LOVE THE CURL TALK LINE!!

Your hair looks so silky! My hair is thick and some parts are really tight curls and some are more wavy since I have mixed hair but the struggle to keep it hydrated is quite the same! It´s so frustrating how I can use the same products in every wash and different results every time! I decided to cut my hair since detangling it in the shower was taking me eternities haha
Have you cut it yet? I would love to know how it turns out, I have a lot of the same problems and have been debating cutting my hair for ages
My hair was also always super tangly I have self-tangling hair I just move and it tangles. It used to take me forever to detangle it in the shower, I always detangle it in the shower with lots and lots of conditioner but even so it used to take me forever to detangle it. But I got a Denman brush and then a wet brush and a tangle teaser, life changers! Now I always use one of those to detangle my hair in the shower when it's full of conditioner and it takes just a fraction of the time it used to.

So beautifully filmed! How do you deal with preventing second or third day tangles? My hair gets super tangled after I’ve slept on it and if I try to detangle it gets super frizzy😪
Love this video! We have the same type of hair and combing it forward gives great clumps but leaves it flat. Such a great tip the half combing! And the Dyson is the dream 🐵 so expensive tho 😭 and it's never the same haha. Wavy, ringlets, always a surprise 💕

This is kind of late, but thank you so much, I always thought that my hair was straight and the most frizzy. And I used to put them in braids everyday because I was embarrassed of my “natural” hair. Then I started doing kind of what you do, and now it turns out I have wavy hair 💗

i found your routine interesting, i tried out the NYM curl talk line and i don't think it holds my hair well enough, although i haven't used it enough to really decide what i think of it
Finallya routine similar to mine but with enough new tips to actually be helpful! I will try your method for refresh, mine always come out looking aweful.

I use that same Castor oil, and it is very thick, but it's very good for the scalp. The way I wash it off, is I put the shampoo on my dry scalp, massage a little, then get under the water just to wet my hair, and massage the shampoo as "normal". The oil comes right off.

I’m training my hair to be more wavy, since my hair is a frizzy mess of straight parts, beautiful wavy parts, some loose ringlet and curls, and some half waves (it’ll start off straight or wavy - usually straight- and have a wave then go back to being straight and vise-versa). I don’t really wanna go full curly girl method, mainly because it’s too strict for me and I wanna be free to use what works for me, but I do want some tips. I already use a cotton tee to dry my hair and it’s definitely cut down a lot of frizz. I tried using my roller brush as a denman - bad idea: it gave me some cute ringlets in the front and made my hair less frizzy, but made most of my hair straighter. I’ve also been doing the scrunching method for a long time now, and recently started doing it in the shower with my conditioner, but near the mid and end of my hair, doesn’t hold the scrunch or looks straighter than the rest. I tried twisting pieces and then scrunching, but no luck. I’m also talking about the side of my head, you have your front section, then the back, and of course - there’s a middle. The back, I understand but the middle is tricky, especially under parts. Any tips on how to help your hair hold the scrunch or is that what the gel is for? I’m also terribly sorry this is devastatingly long, it’s a terrible habit of mine. Thank you to whoever reads this and even helps, any little bit helps! I hope you all are well and best wishes! 🌻♥️✨

Great video! I have a very similar hairtype but it's shorter. I'm growing it out and I've noticed it gets curlier? Does this happen to you? I'm still trying to recover from all my damage... Any tips for definition(it's also less wavy/curly in the back) Does anyone else have this problem? :(

Love your curly hair. I have pin straight hair and it is a struggle. I can't seem to keep a curl and it gets greasy. I think that curly hair is beautiful if styled with the right products. I had my niece watch your video so she could see that curls require the right products and effort. Happy New Year

Since I had my kid, don't really have time for long routines, what would be your barest minimal routine? Super curious ;) also love shea moisture but they don't sell it where I live, always try to get it when I travel!
You can do this routine before you sleep and leave it in a “plop” overnight! Results won’t be as good but it will still look great
Do you brush or comb your hair the next morning before refreshing?

My hairs on the finer side but I have a very similar texture and tend to have a lot of hair fall. I use shea moisture shampoo and conditioner and use no extra hair products but still seem to have a lot of hair fall. If anyone knows why this is or what I can do to prevent it, would be a big help :)
