BRILLIANT!! THIS is exactly the video I needed to design the vinyls for my motorcycle!! I have been trying to figure this out for almost 6 months. Thank you thank you thank youuuuuuuuuuu!!! 🥹❤️👏🏻
Very welcome!
Wow thank you!
You're welcome!
⭐️ Great video. ⭐️
Thank you very much!
thank you!! that was great!
Glad you liked it!
OMG I love your work 😍😊can you do a tutorial for A large dance floor decals plz 😫
Thank you so much! I am sorry but I don't have a dance floor to do a decal on. 🤣 But the method would be similar. Measure your space, and cut it out in squares slighty overlapping.
Katie, could you do a Beginner's Class from unboxing to projects like this decal ?
On my website, I have a ton of Cricut tutorials. In all of my tutorials, I walk through every single step, from Cricut Design Space, cutting, and making the project. I would love for you to check it out! thecraftyblogstalker.com/?s=cricut
This is incredibly interesting! They even have an 'iron on vinyl' for shirts; sort of like silk screen but far simpler!
Thanks.
Very welcome! Let me know if you have any questions, I happy to help!
@@KatieAdams Careful, I may take you up on it! Seriously, though, our minds are the only limit with this great vehicle for creativity and self-expression.
I will somehow MUSTER the patience this needs; your videos make it look easy, more because of who YOU are.
>>Did you enter the dimensions of your car door into that program theresore insuring the decal when expanded was perfect?
3D printing of car parts too is cool tech, especially for those of us who prefer older cars!
@@dragonspaw.blogspot4461 I knew I was going to have to cut some of the decal off, so I didn't design it to the exact dimensions, I just got as close as I could.
I have wanted to get into 3d printing, but haven't yet.
What material did you use im looking to decal a trailer and heard oracal 651 the best but unsure
I used Cricut permanent but Cricut vinyl is oracle vinyl just branded as cricut. It is the same vinyl.
it can be apply too in the windows?
absolutely!
Question..if doing a customers back window how do you know how to do an exact measurement and shape of their window?
For a window, I would cut it a bit larger and then just cut off the excess.
Will I be able to do this for the side top? Where you would put the name of your jeep?
Yes, you could apply to the side top, just measure, measure, measure! 🤣 I have thought about putting my jeep's name in the mountain decal, but I haven't done it yet. Many people put the name on the hood edge, but I don't want to remove the "Willy's" decal that is already there.
Can you show how to make fender vent decals for the Jeep Wrangler/gladiator?
I have never made the fender decals before, but that would be a fun project to make! I'm sorry I can't help you more.
@@KatieAdams is it the similar process to do so? Or should i get more exact dimensions?
@@adananguiano2031 You always want to measure, I measured for the large decal as well. Since you want the decal to fit perfectly around that flare it will just take some trial and error.
why can't you put directly on car instead of using the transfer tape?
The vinyl can stretch and tear when not using transfer tape.
How do you get a picture of your car there?
Go to the written tutorial and I share how I did that. thecraftyblogstalker.com/design-cut-large-decal-stickers-cricut/
What did you set the cut depth too? since you didn't use a mat???
I used a Cricut and Smart Vinyl. I didn't need to set a depth, Cricut does it automatically.
@@KatieAdams I use them also and small detail work are almost impossible to weed unless I cut deeper
@@rosethornDesigns Gotcha. I'm afraid I'm not much help because I just use the settings for Smart Materials.
Trust me your video helped me a lot. Thank you
@@rosethornDesigns Great!
got one for cricut maker?
This tutorial does use the Cricut Maker.
@@KatieAdams thought it was cricut 3 because I have the maker but it would use the smart vinyl
@@crackshotscreenprinting Yes, I used smart vinyl with my decal.
@@KatieAdams I was unaware you can use smart vinyl on a cricut maker. thought it was for Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Explore 3 and Cricut Joy
Sorry, you are correct. I used the Cricut Maker 3
What about applying it to the other side ?
I did apply the same decal just mirrored to the other side of the vehicle. I just didn't show it. :)
@@KatieAdams awesome thank you. When it come to lettering would the same system apply ? I really appreciate you getting back so quick. I’m looking to make a lettering logo and apply it on both sides of my car
@@jp9228 I am happy to help! yes, any lettering or design you can cut out of iron on-vinyl will work to apply to a blanket. Just make sure that the pile (or fur) on the blanket isn't too long.
