- Here are some of the best and funniest moments from Stewie Griffin which I believe broadly portray the type of comedy used in seasons 1 to 4. The video includes insulting and making jokes about popular topics and relatable real life situations and personifying them.
I do not own ANY of the property and rights, they are owned by Twentieth Century Fox. I am simply giving commentary on the some of which I believe to be some of the best and funniest moments. This is considered to be fair use.
Family Guy is an animated show created by Seth Macfarlane which is about the Griffin family consisting of Peter (Father), Lois (Mother), Chris (Son), Meg (Daughter), Stewie (Baby Son) and Brian (Talking Dog). Other popular characters include Joe Swanson, Cleveland Brown and Glen Quagmire (neighbours), Carter Pewterschmidt (Lois’s father), Mort Goldman (Pharmacist and family friend), Dr. Hartman, Mayor Adam West and Tom Tucker (News Anchor). The show is in a fictional city called Quahog in Rhode Island. The show is extremely famous for its cutaway scenes that often insult celebrities, politics, religion, stereotypes, cultures and other popular topics.

+immortalfrieza That is true. Even though he SOMETIMES still has a few hints of being evil, but that went down the drain. He used to be my favourite character, I did not like Brian much AT FIRST. But when I now think about it, he is quite good, really good. (one of the best in family guy; my opinion)
***** I don't think it's any coincidence that the best Family Guy episodes have always been the ones that are just Brian and Stewie playing off each other. It allows the two to lapse into their previous worthwhile characterizations for an episode instead of simply being one note joke characters.
***** Given that he's a baby that shouldn't even HAVE a sexuality yet and most importantly that there's absolutely nothing else to his character but to embody every single gay stereotype in existence in the most insulting way possible while betraying all of his much much better characterization that he had before then yes.

These are the good seasons.
I think the whole Peter's nipple thing was a good example of drawing out a joke. Rather than just have something go on for too long until it becomes uncomfortable and funny, you have an actual thought process here, you have Stewie being confused, wondering why there's a hair in his mouth (considering he assumes it's Lois) and then the abject horror when the realization hits him. It goes on for maybe 20 seconds but damn it's funny.

Of all the Family Guy character derailments in recent episodes, Stewies pissed me off the most. I didn't mind him as a bi-baby with evil tendencies, but they made him a literal crybaby who not only threw a tantrum when Chris and Peter broke the TV, he's even scared of a Thug version of Meg, when he's the baby who faced Bin Laden and Hitler.
