    This video gave me the confidence to replace my own window regulator on the driver side rear of my 2007 Fusion. Can't thank you enough.

    Man, this is awesome. I bought a used 2008 with a damaged rear window, so I'm going to be doing this exact job. Your guide will definitely benefit me coming up soon. Thank you!

    Where is the video on how to put the replacement door on?

      install would be the reverse of removal. If you don't have to disassemble the door to transfer trim or the wire harness (as I needed to) removal and reinstall are much simpler. 1) disconnect the wire harness plug on the door pillar (plug shown in the first 30 seconds of the video linked at the end of this one, or here: czcams.com/video/El6XQda24Go/video.html ) 2) unbolt the two 10mm door strap bolts, 3) unbolt the four 12mm door hinge bolts. (both kinda shown in this video starting at about 20:15 of this video)

    Grateful this video! Thank U!!
    Don't understand how you got the metal panel off though with the window track attach to window?
    And attached to panel with rivets.
    (I removed the 2 10 mm behind rubber plugs)

      The rivets hold the window regulator to the metal panel, if you remove the two 10mm bolts holding the window to the window regulator, you can slide the window up the window track. The window track is not attached to the metal panel. You can see where the window is separated from the regulator from 5:10 to 5:45. I would suggest taping the window up for safety reasons as it might not stay up on it's own like mine did. 11:10 to 11:30 better shows the back side of the metal panel and how the window attaches to the regulator so you can see what you need to do.

    Do I need to remove all those panels to disconnect the wire? Can I just unplug the wire connector and take the door out? Great video

      @stimpysstudslegocreations7722  Před 6 lety

      You can disconnect the wire harness at the 'B' pillar. I had to swap out my good harness with the one from the replacement door because the salvage yard damaged the connector plug upon removal. You can see where to disconnect it in the first 20 seconds of my second video: czcams.com/video/El6XQda24Go/video.html

    Didnt get a clear idea on how the interior door panel comes off.. I got 2 torx screas out and one 7mm bolt out and the panel still wont come off.. I'm afraid to tug on it anymore since it's cheap plastic..

      It's best to use a door trim removal tool (looks like a wide two-tined fork) otherwise a flat screwdriver would work in a pinch. There are several plastic clips that hold it on. They should be shown in this video... czcams.com/video/El6XQda24Go/video.html
