Had a 70 455 98 in high-school 1984. It hauled A$$! I beat the he!! out of it and it didn't even phase it. Very fast. Guessing the 88 is a bit lighter same motor and turbo 400 tranny. Love it.
Car and Driver did a piece on a Delta 88 that had the police package and the 455 in 1970........wish I had that car.......what a brute....a member of the Olds Club of America has one with the bucket seat interior and has done extensive (but not radical) mods to make it a perfect driver.......again a great car...
I don't like big rims on classic cars... But I believe that one needs some. Those 14/15s look like they were struggling to move the car. Nice car by the way. Nothing like an Olds. Fast with class!
I drove a 70’ in 77’ 32,000 miles on that 455. Almost or should have been killed in it. Hit a pole and flipped at 115 mph. All that metal saved me
Too Bad

Badass. But it needs bigger wheels.
