Beautiful heartfelt reaction. He is the greatest technical vocalist on the planet by any measurable metric. Check out " War and Peace " and "Unforgettable Day " both of which Dimash composed himself. Also, must see Dimash masterpieces include, " Know " and "Vocalize " both of which follow the exact same melody but are sung completely differently. I loved your reaction...priceless. 😊 I'm 63, he is the age of my son. I did not expected that at my age I finally, truly experienced through Dimash's songs, what music really can do. In one of his interviews he said ' My voice is a tool. My main goal is to distract a person a bit from the usual routine and bring him/her into a fantasy world " . He is working to get better, but also to maintain quality, because the singing 'apparatus' (chest-larynx-vocal cords) has a lot of muscles, and you have to keep everything in perfect shape, to be able to access all the notes with the precision that you want. This is why he says that "singing is like a sport, you have to train like athletes do" :) (some think that he is referring to the swimming he does - which does help with breath control - but by 'training like athletes' he`s actually referring to vocal training, maintaining vocal muscles in shape by singing, literally :) )
