Once you’re under contract on your new home, don’t do anything to jeopardize your home purchase! Lenders will do one last credit check, employment verification, and they’ll check the balances in your bank accounts ONE LAST TIME right before you close.
That means no new car, no furniture, and definitely no eye cream from Paris 😜

I work in a leasing office of a pretty luxe apartment complex and whenever my new tenants get some thing new and expensive, it always stresses me out to see if they’ll be able to pay rent at the end of the month😂

My tenant told me they were planning to buy a house in a few months. I saw a new van in the driveway. I said "nice new car". They said, we just bought it. I knew then that they were going to be staying for several more years as they just screwed their ability to buy a house.
