As someone who uses a Fold, I don't need a small, portable tablet... so the S9 Ultra is perfect for me! It truly is my laptop replacement.

Got the regular tab S9, and i love it. The screen is eye-catching, and the battery life is nothing short of amazing. Samsung really knocked out the ipads this year.

nah I have to disagree, Im a linux user but id pick a ipad over this any day.
@RobertBrownCyberboy109 I thought Linux users love freedom. you'll pick the ipad just for the Apple logo? FYI, I also own the ipad pro 2020 I haven't picked it up ever since I have the tab s9. I used it for 2.5 years and it was a horrible experience. it gets really hot when gaming and wont charge even in the middle of day on idle it warms up and after ios 16 update it wont charge when warm and i get the stupid charge on hold message, the file manager is horrible, when uploading something or downloading from any site or drive that is not apple icloud it will cancel if you minimize the app or close your screen, I cannot customize it the way i want to, multitasking is just not at the s9 level, the battery life is not on par, there is always an extra step for everything, no swipe to go back i have to stretch my finger to the top to go back in apps, if i am working on an image or video the system automatically duplicate it cause you have to import them to those apps and after that when you render you will have 3 of the same samples lol, a whole lot of small things that makes the experience just goofy. inagine you need M1 and abotve to get more than 4 apps on screen with stage manager ( stage manager is a joke) pen hoover and external monitor support, that is goofy as fuck. But you can have your Ipad it's your money.

How do you guys do it? I took my tab S8+ out of the keyboard case to hand hold it, and I can feel the weight. I like it hand-held, but I'm glad I have the smaller version, too.

The cameras are amazing for meetings and video calls. I love my tab s9ultra and i use alot of apple and samsung products. I actually sold my ipad pro 12 inch model because the versatility on this beast is just amazing.

If there was a way to properly run Linux with DeX, I would seriously consider switching to a tablet like this.
A couple other things I love about the tab is remote desktop if your home computer is on and be able to do pretty much anything as well as with me playing games, Game Pass cloud.

I loved doing meetings on the tablet. Compare to doing meetings on a windows computer, the camera is better, the audio is better, I am not tempted to do other thing while in the meeting and I don’t have to charge the device in the middle of the meeting

Thanks. Some of us don't game, I thankfully haven't touched a game in 30 years. What about real life activities such as accessing cloud files via OneDrive, Google Drive for example. What about Microsoft 365 apps such as Excel, Word etc. PDFs as well. In other words have you tried to use it as an actual PC replacement, without all the gaming?

~ 8:27 I would disagree. I have been an avid Surface Pro user since the Surface Pro 3 days. I regularly use mine as nothing more than a tablet. Especially when on the move. What I love is the ability to stop, flip the keyboard down and bam, I have a laptop.
I have been tempted to switch to a Samsung tablet, unfortunately MS Remote Desktop, which my company users for remote access to internal networks, is not supported on Android devices. Atleast not at my company.

I have the S8 Ultra 16 gig RAM 512 gig storage with the Spen Creators edition because I can't stand the little nib on the s pens. As an artist, I wish Samsung had a 16-inch option. I might wait for the s 10 to upgrade thanks for the video.

I have this Tab S9 Ultra, it does 45watt charging 30mins quicker than 25watt, total 0-100 in 1hr30mins
im a student and i bought a used ipad pro m1 earlier this year for school, though i was really considering the tab S8 since i primarily use windows and android.
There was just enough cons to push me toward the ipad in the end, but if this was available at the start of the year i think i definitely wouldve gone with the S9.
I cant wait to see a deep dive into dex and thank you for showcasing the prowess of the tab S9 ultra. Hopefully this tablet does well and can drive further improvement from other android tablet manufactuerers moving forward.
I absolutely hate the lock-in approach Apple takes with their eco system and this video keeps me hopeful for the future. Cheers!

There are some great, but still a lot phone only apps. But for a tablet work flow, I think there's an app for everything you may need to do in a tablet

The lack of Dolby Vision and most of my digital movie collection being under "Apple TV" prevents me from jumping ship, I hate being stuck in the Apple ecosystem.
It's funny how people in the comment section always mention media creation tools as if most consumers use those tools on their tablet. I would bet most people just use tabs for media consumption and surfing. So if you use content creation tools, you more likely go with the iPad but if you just want a tab for surfing and surfing, hell you got more options to choose from. Good for everyone :)
We are talking about high end products, maybe that is the reason. If we were taking regular tablets the tone would be very different I think

to me the limited windows arm tablets is way more useful compare to an android tablet, of course I'm being an outlier here. but windows tablets sucks so much right now, that's why I'm so exited for the snapdragon x elite. my wildest dream would be, just stay with me for a bit.

That's really a thing I'm curious about because...Why not... and I've been trying to find an answer for quite some time now before I'd pull the trigger and buy it.
I just upgraded to this s9 Ultra Tablet from the iPad Pro M2... the screen is great the experience is great. I got this completely for the screen size and to watch videos on 😂. This screen is better to me then my M2 and I will be using this going forward.
How do Android apps look? The lack of tablet optimized apps for Android is what keeps me using iPad.
