I like how Godzilla does not act differently. Godzilla knows something is wrong, _maybe he even knows he's in Hell,_ but he just keeps going like he normally would. I find that admirable. It's hilarious saying this about a comic that has Godzilla going to Hell, I feel there's a worthwhile message being said here.
I would argue that he definitely did. He couldn't escape hell because he DOES sin, and his sin is the worst and most crippling of them all.

Only by giving up his pride and allowing himself to be defeated was he able to defeat Hell's final trick and escape back to reality.

#2 destroyah is a fusion of mutated crustaceans and is one of the most merciless monsters in the godzillaverse.
#3 King Ghidorah is godzilla's arch enemy, a three headed golden alien dragon that is either controlled by aliens or as merciless as destroyah
#4 anguirus, Rodan and varan are all prehistoric monsters evolved similarly to Godzilla (via radioactivity)
5# the little devil things, after they ate godzilla, presumably get over taken by godzilla's healing factor and start roaring like Godzilla before they reform him
#6 the large creature at the end is nicknamed "the hell gate guardian", though no confirmed name has been given. It can disable attacks and enjoys watching others suffer.
