I feel like if they remade the early games Ubisoft would end up trying to "modernize" the controls and the whole game would end up just feeling like ac mirage. I'd honestly rather they just left the games as they are, they hold up pretty well anyway
I thought the same too, they're too far entrenched in the modern gameplay that their engine allows and which is just completely completely anithetical to how the old games ran. I would rather prefer something like MrVoland44 suggested: AC2 with Brotherhood or Revelations graphics
Mirage was a good game but no they wouldn’t do that they’d keep it the same but add more to the map most likely
@@mrhunter2154 nah, that's what they SHOULD do, but Ubisoft is an awful company, and a faithful remake is more expensive to make than a reskinned rpg
@@roberticus8682 guess we will see, I don’t think they are an awful company but considering they got alot on their plate right now it’s possible they will let us down. I hope not though
The music is amazing. It really adds to the atmosphere of the game.
It was a big lacking aspect in AC1 which had a phenomenal score (I know one track plays in the each of the cities but it's far too infrequent) and whoever decided to cut the continual roaming music from AC3 forward is a massive idiot.
@@EliasThKu I like both AC1 and AC3 too. They were all different. AC1 had the dark ages vibe with a bit of Middle Eastern music, AC3 had the sounds of nature with a bit of Native Indian sounds along with some British Empire/Colonist music. It was pretty cool. AC2 just sounds elegant and AC Brotherhood's music kind of reminds me of Ancient Rome mixed with the Renaissance.
@@8bitnation419 One aspect that AC as a franchise nails almost everytime is the OST, always great stuff
Honestly it just needs a tiny visual upscale with textures and character models maybe global illumination/ ray tracing and that’s literally it every thing else is perfect
tbh i would rather see AC2 locatons ported to ACB by modders + freeroam in mission's locations
og gameplay was perfected in ACB. new gameplay = new game.
Its so real, i just finished it three days earlier, but my low end pc didn't support this graphics
Or they can combine 3 games with all mechanics together and an un-equip weapons and amours too

@TotoPotter2010 the old games all hold up wonderfully, I highly recommend playing them even without a remaster. Though, if you're on Xbox (idk about PlayStation) you will want to get Ezio Collection since AC2 is broken, and you can't beat it anymore, unless on Ezio Collection

Assassin’s Creed 2 is perfect as it is. There’s no need for a remake. The only game that deserves a remake is the original 2007 game.
i think rogue deserve the remake
