It is actually so relatable how you just completely lose the sense of time when working on something that you think would only take a few more minutes.
it's never just a few more minutes 😔
So true it's like i work on Millers planet
and it still doesn't work! Aaarghhh!!
@@FryingPan what is the theme you use in Vscode?
30 min work equals to 3-4 hours. i learnt never make a promise on time.
The “of course doesn’t work” 😂 so relatable
I am beginner at HTML/CSS and making something takes way more time than I expect it to take. So relatable, thanks man you always make jokes that are funny and understandable no matter which level you are on! Glad I chose you to follow.
I'm a complete newbie dev aspirant and correct it I'm wrong but does it take react to do what he just did??
Just add padding bottom calc width * height / 100%
"my shift is over but I really wanna finish this"
Now this hits a bit too close to home
Sometimes I swear CSS has a mind of its own
Fr
bootstrap has a mind of its own
I felt this deep in my soul. Especially the “at least I don’t have to drive home, I’ll work a little longer”
"I gotta work again in a few hours"
That really hits my heart, deeply.
"OMG inline CSS, are you serious?" Had me dying on the floor 😂
I'm new to CSS and didn't quite catch that one. Would you mind explaining it to me?
@@0nePiece98 I think he meant that its kinda iffy to write css properties in html code, not in a separate css file) Im a newbie too though so may be wrong 😅😂
.container {
max-width: 768px;
display: flex;
flex-wrap: wrap;
}
Thx
The Christmas tree still being up really completes the image.
Yeah man I'm also a Frontend SE working from home and this is very relatable, specially because I was just assigned a huge project in angular which I had no previous experience lololol
lmao same here bro was offered a frontend position back in November! I spent a lot of time learning React only to be assigned a project that uses angular which I had never touched. Gotta love observables..
that was me my last internship, glad i'm back to react lol
I spent all my time learning node.js and react and my first job was Laravel and vue loll - can relate
@@marcosgonzales2007 Whoa at least it makes sense to assign a js framework to someone who has experience in a different js framework. But they decided to assign you a framework in a different language. Hey I hope you like Laravel. I use it on my job. I would be annoyed if they assigned me node.js if I applied for Laravel lol
I just got my first job as a fe engineer working on an angular app! Definitely lots of googling angular material and hours spent trying to apply simple scss
Edit: I also only knew react from my bootcamp
😂😂😂 can relate to this... I've got a group project this semester and one time we spent 3 hours trying to fix an issue with the footer... ended up just scrapping it all
Hey Pan, how's your job going? I am interested in becoming a software engineer and your channel has been awesome to binge watch!
I'll be doing an update video soon for my internship, exciting stuff happening :)
@@FryingPan looking forward to it!!!
Awesome im planning on being a software developer
@@yumei22 Yo how's it going? Achieving your goals man!?
Funny but so true! 🤣
thank you for this video, all employers should watch this and understand that coders and programmers productivity skyrockets when we are sitting cosy in our homes with 2 monitors, comfortable chairs and wearing casual clothing. Also no one is distracting us and there's completely silence (unless you have kids).
Also employers dont have to pay for more office space
i feel that pain too bro ...you just have to pass it and time is the only cure for this damn job
This hits close to home and I’m still studying, it’s never finished.
I gotta say, time does go by quicker when working from home.
In the office I used to check the time constantly. Before lunch, after lunch, before I left, etc. Just always looking at the clock.
I’d love to know your timeline and how you got started! I’m having trouble knowing what to do now that I’ve gone through the training and learning full stack. Like, how do you practice, and what do you wish you’d done differently when you were learning? Thanks!
I cracked up when you resized the windows and accidentally moved the image on your desktop 😂😂😂 so real
It's the same for UX Designers 😂 We just want to "fix a small little thing" and then it's already the next morning !
Some days it feels like time is barely moving and you just spin around in your chair to fill the 10 minutes to 5.
Other days its a time warp where you dont realise that youve gone past 5.
At least in office i check time often because i want to go home.
And this happens almost every day 😅
I'm the contrary, i finish early every single day at least 1 hour. 2 if counting the early finish in the morning. Some days i barely even work at all. God i love "working" from home
This just happened to me 😂😂.....time flies soo fast when you wanna get things done
That cat staring right at you: You kidding me??? 😂😂😂
I love this so much! This is my daily routine 😄❤️
Key to working at home is to do the same amount of pomodoro intervals each day. Then you don’t over-work or under-work
That's so relatable though...while coding .. time just flies like crazy ..it blows my mind
Sometimes it happened also to me, but you know what? It's better to clock out at times.
More than once I was stuck on the same problem only to solve it in few minutes the day after.
Relatable. I was once working at lab, had everything ready to go and then noticed a tiny error in my calculations. It should not have taken as long as it did to correct it 😅
0:48 I don't know but I laughed so hard when you accidentally dragged the panicon hahaha.
Omg the thought process on the cat bahahah totally me..youre funny asf..in line css🤣🤣🤣
As always it's really good XDDDD!! I enjoyed it!
Lotion behind the phone stand 😂😂
The way 30 seconds is 10 minutes is so accurate
That cat is stubborn man ! 🤣🤣🤣
Working as a software engineer is the only job you want to work over time😂😂
Bro, the face disappoinment on that cat is what gets me 😂
you are my inspiration broo ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The fact the Christmas tree is still up 😂
shit i'm dying 🤣🤣 nobody can argue how true that was
Work days go by a lot quicker when you work at home, I remember how the time just went, and was already the end of the day. I miss some of it, but during the end a lot of work started to fall on my shoulders, and basically i went through over a thousand files a day doing major editing for nearly half of them. My eyes and mind started reeling with the repetitive hell, errors I knew how to correct, but at times were so numerous and bad, that it did give me a headache. I understand programmers go though same hell with debugging. I know cause I worked with some and they would sometimes shut themselves in a office and cry.
time flies haha. the same thing here. Sometimes I feel it will be better to put plans with no timing
"I think that's how CSS works" LOL. Priceless !!!!!
This constantly happens to me AT work. Don't chase the rabbit hole it'll still be waiting for you in morning.
True
this is why flexbox is our CSS lord and savior
Praise be praise be!
This is accurate. Or if I have nothing to do on a weekend it turns into, "meh, lemme just log on quick and work on this."
"time flies when you enjoy on what you are doing"
"or not :)"
I laughed at this one earlier around 7pm and now it's 12am and I finally finished my task, which I was supposed to handle only on work hours (because it's what my colleagues say lol) Eugh only have few hours for sleep
that moment when you use html and css so much that you can fix that pretty quick lol
Bro this was too funny lmao
lmfaoooo dragging the icon to desktop 😭
i loled at OMG INLINE CSS R U SERIOUS too relatable xD
This is completely accurate.
Too real. TOO REAL. 😭
this is not applied only in work but THAT is me when I'm trying to solve a coding problem I just SOMEHOW spend all my time and i have other classes to study for
esp for those automatic code graders that need something very specific so you spend even more time trying to get it to pass even if you have the correct output 🥲
@@ryang9802 omgg Yeahhhh that's sooo trueee help !!!
Somewhere off in the distance, a CSP is weeping at the inline CSS
Lol the worst is when they ask you what you did yesterday in stand up
Omg this is so funny
I need to make one like this for my work life as a TPM
That 'inline CSS' part got meXD
I love that his background is also the cat lol
Bro you earned new sub 😁
1:16 killed me lmfao. I'm just starting in web dev and no one has ever told me this or anything but I've gotten a sense that in-line css is terrible
Inline CSS are you sirious.. 😂😂 that was good one....
The amount of times I've spent ages in a "simple problem".
Hey man can you please tell me where is the best place to start this my first year in cs as a college student and I don’t know a single thing
Dude this is just facts.
Oh my God, inline CSS, are you Serious!! 😂
1:33 the moment of truth
"i think that's how css works" yup. very relatable.
I love working at home, no commute, wear whatever you want, and make some coffee at any time.
relatable af, I spent 14hours straight fixing bugs ... in a weekend cause I was bored and my OCD kicked in lol
So relatable sometimes 😂
I’m not a software engineer but I totally empathize with this….😆😆 working remote is not rainbows and sunshine
And that's exactly how ut feels...like ypur whole life revolves around work...eat...sleep...work again😅
Lmaooooo why am i cracking up
another day, another quality upload (ft some spiffy lookin glasses 😎)
So relatable lool😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that cat's eye
Me working from home: *Answers one email* "Man, that was exhausting, better clock out for the day and take a nap."
hey pan i been watching your video and it was fun to watch.
That's why I love bootstrap, much faster to produce result and easier.
This is my life every day
HONESTLY!! This is soo trueeee. At any point in my coding.
Hahah this video is hilarious specially when you hear the voice saying "seriously inline css" also when you looked at the clock and it being 4 hours later on pushing the images down below. I know css can be tricky, so let me know if that was a real project I can help you with an answer unless this project was just for this video. 😁🙌🏽
So relatable
I always wrap in a box and do with the box as I please
I will frkn hit thisubscribe button men I cant stop laughing
bruh! laughed a lot! Totally relatable :xD
that's sooooo trueee
yep it was like that almost every day!
Never had this problem. When it’s clock out time I’m OUT.
The good thing is, you aren't going to forget what you tried and what else could work. Well, you can think about it when you eat and sleep. And then, when you log in, you'll be ready to try your ideas out right away.
Valorant Coin and Lol Coin ahahaha dx that was funny!
Love the theme, so vibrant . What theme is this
the inline css comment had me dying lmao
so are we all gonna ignore the fact that the phone lockscreen has the same cat as the stubborn one from the website 😂
Me forgetting to add a ; at the end of a line I don't eaven need:
Man this is so relevant to me !!
