- I will show you how to make a Simple AFK Auto Miner in Minecraft which can be used to find Ancient Debris in the nether and also dig long tunnels for various needs. This is probably the best way to find ancient debris as well as the best way to dig tunnels in Minecraft.
This auto miner works on Minecraft java 1.16 and above.

Fantastic design absolutely helped me with a project I was working on! It's pretty touchy though - any slight disruption, like falling gravel, liquids, creepers, random tnt ignitions while moving over lava, clicking too fast, or server lag can cause it to either jam or blow itself up.
I've found that if you add another netherite to the end, it makes nice flat surfaces. Good if you want to make a walkable tunnel

I found this to be an absolute nightmare to use in the nether in 1.17, lava kept getting in the way and occasionally blowing up the TNT and half the machine.
with good luck you wont get any lava lakes in your way but yes

For those wondering, this does work on the new deepslate but since it's more blast resistant than stone it doesn't work AS well, but still works
Deepslate and stone have the same blast resistance. Deepslate just has higher hardness, making it slower to mine.

@@wessel176 Literally take 3 seconds to look at the wiki. They both have a blast resistance of 6. And take it from me. I made a perimeter in 1.18 using a world eater in the new terrain generation and there was no difference between stone and deepslate.

I lost count how many times i thought to myself "This will never work!" during the building of this, works amazingly (I havent the first clue how) what a contraption! :)
I found debris while digging the starting chamber. It made me quite happy (for a moment at least)
Imagine making this and going afk then returning to realize you blew up a massive layer of lava and are now dead and the redstones ruined......never happened to me that's for sure

This thing is great! I build 2 of the small ones in the nether at Y=15 going on 2 different directions perpendicular to each other and I've found at least 10 ancient debris in the first hour of use!
I'm not sure if it was mentioned in the video, but if you make the wide version, include it all within the same chunk, otherwise the machine's gonna break
Protip: If mining in the nether, then you can set up the farm a bit higher (y=20 would be the max i'd go) and remove the ancient debris from the farm build. This will then allow you to carpet bomb the nether by clicking the note block more frequently
IMPORTANT: That machine can't be build in bedrock edition 1.16. the TNT will explode in your face when adding parts around the cart.

What NaMiature forgot to say is : Watch out for obstacles (gravel , creepers , lava , etc.) or you might go insane from having to rebuild the miner literally 20 times because it blew itself up

Tip: you don't have to find ancient debris for this machine. I found out that you can place 3 cobblestone on the front and just place it again after the explosion.

Anyone looking to do this in the most recent release (1.18.1), good news!
This design still works, you just need to be very careful placing the TNT and minecarts, since some people get confused there.
I have indeed tested it and it works like a charm.

The description says you need 11 honey blocks for the wider version but I think you actually need 13. Great machine though, way more fun than tnt, beds, or mining in a line.

yeah. this is what im building when I know mods are online and I think im being spectated. thanks for showing me how to launder the ancient debris I illegally mined by employing it in a legal boring machine before it can be seen in my nbt data as a stack of debris or shards or ingots. instead its just placed back into the world and pushed by train LOL
Some really good advice I would give after using this farm in the nether is to build this farm on the soul sand valley biome (maybe there is less netherite on this biome idk) because I havenât encountered a single lava pool compared to other biomes.
Built it the exact same way twice. Works perfect the first time and breaks, what did I miss?
Edit: changing the kissing piston closest to the netherite to a sticky piston fixed it. Great video, and love the soothing music.

works perfectly as of right now, I changed all the honey blocks into slime blocks and used shroom light instead of glowstone.

Netherite isn't even hard to get. I'm trying to decide if this machine is even worth it since I can usually find a good hit of debris with an inv of beds
Master Pope Yoda bed mining can get dangerous if you dont have blast protection and potions... You can use this design too for when u need lots of netherite and can even afk it as long as u use the autoclicker
@@hurainuim4987 I just use prot 4 diamond armor. I've fell in lava and survived with plenty of hearts, so beds arent that dangerous, but I always have a totum of undying in my hand as well just in case.

It's better to build this in Y12 at nether so that you can avoid the huge lava rivers.

works perfectly java 1.19.2. for netherite mining the tnt should sit at y12, any higher and you'll blow off the bottom of lava pools
I'm on 1.19.2 and built one exactly as shown in the video but the tnt is only firing once and not duplicating do you have any idea what im doing wrong because ive remade it like 10 times now and im completely stumped. (I made the small one)

Hey I really love this machine. Is there a way to expand it to more than 2 machines? I tried adding a third one but the pushing piston couldn't push all 3.
you could make it separately i guess
@@splint483 I ended up making a piston that would push slime with more pistons that would push more slimes with pistons and managed to operate a bunch of those machines! Ended up with so many diamonds

Which coral fan were you using I think you should use horn coral fan. It should work.

i built exactly the way it is but for some reason the pistons with the noteblock once i click it it kept moving but when it touchers the two vertical honey blocks it wont push it foward the tnt and anything?

So I am trying to do this on a server and it has a plug-in that every time u try to activate a piston that is facing a Minecart on a rail it just deletes the piston Minecart and rail, any tips on how to get the Minecart on the detector rail without the tnt blowing up?
