      The root causes of the mental health issues of many soldiers is that things like this were covered up by higher ups.
      Have you even spoke to the homeless ex army personnel?
      Innocent families being executed and weapons being planted is just the tip of the iceberg.
      There were thousands of cases like Abeer Al Janabi brushed under the carpet.

    I have been fortunate enough to meet and talk to Harry McCallion several times, a thoroughly open, honest, and decent man of huge experience both in the SAS and the legal world. If he says the BBC thing is garbage, then I am very much inclined to believe him.

A few years later he was accepted into the South African military, passed selection for the Recce Commandos and fought against the communist insurgents. On his return to the UK he passed SAS selection, serving several years with the SAS including service in the Falklands. He joined the Royal Ulster Constabulary, was decorated for bravery, discovered a penchant for law, survived a near fatal car crash and qualified as a barrister.
      In a world full of rubbishy books about the SAS his is a standout beacon and a gripping testament to a truly remarkable military career. Buy the book and read it.

      @@Mk1Male That's a highly unlikely situation. The SAS has been mostly deployed in foreign conflicts. The infrequent terrorist attacks within this country have been dealt with by the police. You have to look back at the 1980 Iranian embassy siege to see SAS effectives deployed in the UK.

    The BBC needs a damn good clear out, but I believe it's too late for that now. On the point of wounded soldiers, it is disgusting that these guys are not supported while the Government throws money at these boat people coming over from France everyday. I would've loved for both my Grandfathers to still be here (both WW2 vets') but was thinking the other day what they would think about what this country has become. I believe we have lost this country.

    'Your program last night concerning the SAS was a shameful insult of men who served their country putting their lives at risk. Does the idiot who came up with this program have any idea of what it is like being in a war'?
