  • PRODUCTIVITY BOOTCAMP EP.2
This is the second part of a series on productivity basics.
Takeaway: use your calendar not only for your appointments, but as a work planning tool as well. It will make you SO much more productive.
    * It helps you to know what to work on, so there is less room for procrastination
    * You'll learn how long things actually take you: it is the perfect time tracker
    * Your calendar is a finite resource, which is actually a really good thing: you will be less inclined to overschedule

I have to give this a shot. Interesting approach. I wonder when Google will come up with an all-in-one task manager.

Hi Rick, thank you for sharing this! I follow the same approach. But my only problem is that I haven't found a tool that would allow me to quickly kinda drag and drop tasks from my to-do list to my calendar. Copy-pasting is a bit of a pain. Maybe you know the tool that enables you to do that with simple dragging from a list of things to do to a particular time slot?

I use google calendar for blocking out time. And I hoped that Google Tasks would allow syncing to calendar. Well, it does to some extent - when you add Due Date you can see your task in the Calendar under the day you specified. But what a shame you can't turn this task into a time slot that has a specified duration - which is the main idea of the approach. Quite disappointing) Any other ideas of tools/integrations?
