I admittedly do like to see Extra Turns more, because there are less vfx and more raw gameplay. Glad they keep making these, I definitely think that these are better overall.

Agreed. The only critique I’d have with Extra Turns is that Josh and Jimmy should be in more, if not, all of them. They have the best camera presence especially together. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really care for their crew.

This was such an awesome game, and holy shit what a comeback from Rachel's deck. I just LOVE watching her play - she is such a fun presence, always down from a laugh and a good time, and also builds awesome decks. Love seeing her more on the show!
She piloted an absolutely bonkers Orvar deck on another show. I hope we get to see it here some day!
Rachel is one of my favorite personalities on the web, she is funny, smart, entertaining and the icing on the cake is the fact she plays Magic!

I ALWAYS love seeing Rachel play! I audibly screamed @41:30 when I realized what she was doing! I love all the players and everyone had some great plays. More Extra Turns please!!!

36:06 Craig plays morphic pool untapped despite having only one opponent and because of that he was able to have the mana up for mana drain
Fortunately it turned out that it didn't matter -- forgivable mistakes!
Then he lost.
he also phased out his sword of feast and famine from terei's veil, that's not what the card does. it changes peoples plays throughout the game we dont see hands so there is no way to tell.
@@heinousrat9019 It phases out the creature, but the ability of phasing states that all equipment attached to that creature (as well as auras) are also phased out.
And he tapet a izzet signet to play two blue

@@blaze556922 From Yugioh, they magical artefacts from ancient Egypt. Eye belongs to villain from season 1, it lets you read people's minds and see cards in their hand and a bunch of evil magic stuff. Puzzle main characters. The show doesn't go into what it does in the english (don't know in the japanese) but it basically increases your chances of getting what you need to survive to the next turn / win, depending on how bad of a situation you are in, how high the stacks are and how skilled you are at the game you are playing, the higher each of those factors in, the more likely you are to get what you need.
@@kitsu1379 I think they did finally explain what the puzzle did right before or during the duel between Yugi and The Pharaoh. Basically you could alter fate in your favor just by willing it, but the power would get stronger the more dire of a situation you were put in. Basically it has the power of Plot Armor 😂
Cheeky Rachel... "as long as this top deck is another Living Death". When it was Mana Drain'ed the first time she knew she could try to cast it again as long as she survived Craig's turn. The pieces were already there, the milling just added more wood to the fire. You call it a comeback, I call it a well executed plan B.
Love seeing Rachel's decks and gameplay, such a great player. Also, always love Murph's decks, though he needs to get meaner and less cute. Take a page from Rachel's playbook: at least 4 "save my team from board wipes" in small creature attack decks and more interaction. Great video!

Love the synergy between Ludevic and Sidar Kondo. Getting through with attacks and drawing an extra card each turn.
Extremely cool deck - absolutely hamstrung by Toxrill. But dang if Break Through the Line wasn't the spiciest secret tech of the game! Awesome stuff
Sidar also goes really well with arcades.... What blockers :D *swings for 40 dmg on 6 bodies*
That comeback is what makes me love magic. She freaking popped off
I haven't watched the full episode yet, but I already like Evan. His voice is nice and he brings a lot of great energy to the table. Wish we could see him on Game Knights at some point soon

I'm at 2:50 and I'm already excited to see that Racheel is playing Sidisi. As a long time moxfield follower, this deck has been the inspiration for my Sidisi deck. Hope it performs well!

That was an awesome game, so swingy. That's what commander is all about, those moments where you play a card and the whole table erupts in cheers.
That was such an early damnation I just couldn't get over it.
Just want to give some love to some of the best commercials I've seen in some time on any form of media. Would've never thought a mobile game and ear buds commercial on a youtube video where I watch people play magic the gathering would be more well done and thought out than anything on tv.
Really glad to see the VFX team getting their dues. Hope to see Evan again!

The morphic pool Craig played at 36:15 should've entered tapped (only having one opponent). Meaning he didn't have the required mana to cast the mana drain that countered Rachel's Living Death. Whoops.

Rachael’s laugh is contagious, i usually watch Game Knights while running on the treadmill and Rachael makes it so much harder to catch my breath 😂😂😂
This is the first time I see 2 creatures with deathtouch clash in combat and none of them died.
That was a wonderful game. I love seeing interaction in commander. There are so many channels that seems like all they do is try to hurry to their win con and completely let everyone else just get away with everything.
Rachel is an amazing Commander player. She’s been a great addition to the Command Zone. All her wins are just insane and fun. The only downside I have when seeing her play, is the fear of my favourite Command Zone person go against her deck haha. I love Craig’s personality and really wanted him to win here, but unfortunately he just had to meet his end to Rachel 😭
Feels like Rachel plays decks at a higher power level than a lot of the decks she goes against, ngl kinda cheapens her victories for me
@@ICantThinkOfAFunnyHandle it maybe the case, but I’m sure they have these talks beforehand. This particular game it could’ve gone either way so I wasn’t too sad about it. But overall it doesn’t take away from my personal enjoyment

36:14 Morphic Pool should ender tapped so Craig should not have been able to cast the mana drain a bit after, let's say missplays happens.
He also should not have gotten the 5 cards from frost fang as the source of the trigger left the game when Murf was eliminated.
@@9thebigcool but if a permanent leaves the battlefield the trigged ability still goes on the stak
@@WMG2019 Right, but when a player leaves the game then any permanents they own and any abilities on the stack from those permanents are removed as a game rule. Thus when Murf was knocked out the triggers on the stack would be removed as the viper would leave the game and its triggers would not resolve.
@@9thebigcool i think the ruling is any spell or ability that player controll is eliminated but the trigger was not Murf's. Could be wrong here but that is how i see it :)

Game knights is great but extra turns is great as well, both are great for what they are. Editing in both formats is flawless and this goad sound is hilarious.
