    Daniel began studying music as a child and was influenced by Jazz, Classical, Rock, MPB, and Choro. At 19, he founded his first band the Brasilia-Brasil Trio. Their first album, Abre Alas, was released in 2001. In the studio, he has collaborated with Lee Ritenour, John Paul Jones, Cassandra Wilson and Didier Lockwood to name a few. Daniel also tours regularly. His first solo album, On The Way, came out in 2006. His most recent studio effort is Simbiose, a collaboration with jazz guitarist Pedro Martins.

    Winner of The 2015 Montreux Guitar Competition at age 21, the Brazilian musical phenom is well known for his collaborations with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Yaron Herman, David Binney, Jacob Collier as well as Brazilian jazz greats Hamilton de Holanda, Gabriel Grossi, and Léo Gandelman. His second album, VOX (2019), features thirteen jazz-inflected Brazilian rock songs. Pedro was a featured performer at Eric Clapton's 2019 Crossroads Guitar Festival.

    Antonio Loureiro never thought of doing anything other than music, as there is no other way. Son of musicians, at age 12 already performing gigs in Belo Horizonte, MG. A band member of one of the most important guitarists in the world, Kurt Rosenwinkel, touring with him around the world playing in the most important Jazz festivals in the world. Also plays drums with CacĂĄ Machado, guitarist Pedro Martins.

    "The song I played is called “To Sing What I Am” and it was written by me and Affonsinho Heliodoro. I met Daniel in 2010 at a Jazz Festival in Belo Horizonte. I went to see the concert and fell in love with his compositions and aesthetics of his music. Later we started talking online about music and eventually meeting a couple of times in Rio when I was there playing. He introduced me to Pedro Martins, another really important person I had the joy of getting involved with. We all have a long and beautiful relationship of friendship and musical collaboration.”

    Excelente as cançÔes Pedro e Martins E Daniel Santiago jĂĄ conheço seus trabalhos hĂĄ algum tempo, muito bons, mas bacana a surpresa (pra mim) em ouvir tambĂ©m Antonio Loureiro e Frederico Heliodoro (que sĂł conhecia como mĂșsicos da banda Caipi).Senti influĂȘncias de Ivan Lins, Politonalisimo (?) , Joni Mitchell e Clube da Esquina, mas sĂł como influĂȘncia porque sĂŁo cançÔes super originais, parabĂ©ns a todos.
