I see Physicians wanting more freedom and the pressure of the system to maximize time for profit. The mission is gone, and shouldn’t be the responsibility of the clinician to carry it, although many do. So happy to see joy in your life and I want the same!!! Feeling stuck and completed deflated, with diminished confidence due to the cut-through politics of healthcare. I want freedom, physically and financially, did I mention the non-profit pay (😂) that’s peddled to the healthcare worker when execs rake in millions? I hope to learn from you. Ali, at the beginning of 2023 you released a video on starting a new CZcams channel (and what you would do if you had to start from scratch) I watched it, and it changed my life! (quite literally) I made the decision to start CREATING, and your voice has been a consistent positive influence in my life and journey since I watched that video. My channel is growing and producing income, and here I am again, 1.5 years later, implementing more advice from you. Keep doing what you're doing, and know it's impacting people greatly.
Working towards a vision is wild because you know roughly where you want to go, and kind of how to get there, but you have no idea what the journey is going to look like for you. The unknown is what makes it so exciting, personally.
First of all, congratulations Ali !! I am expecting the " How to be Productive in Marriage ( Tips and Tricks ) " video at your earliest convenience😂 I like the idea of this concept but it is a bit dangerous sometimes. I get that it is "your IDEAL life", and there are like no rules, but I would much rather do it in terms of things that I can control. Like my actions and my time. Rather than write I want to have something I like to write I will work for this amount of time each day to get this goal ( fitness healthy looking body, better youtube content for my channel, etc.. ). I think that way you control more if you do the action needed to get to that goal... Much love as always ! I recently did some data processing with excel from my google takeout data for CZcams watch history and it turns out I have watched over 400 Ali Abdaal videos with a potential watch time of 146.22 hours of Ali Abdaal content. So, I have learned a lot from you my friend. And I thank you for that !
The "dream life" changes dramatically at the first pregnancy. As a seasoned parent I have yet to find a content creator who prioritizes the "dream-life" after having children. Priorities change. At the moment of parenthood, you quickly learn your attempts at the dream life are a low priority. It's wise to learn the discipline of self-sacrifice, of contributing to society, to our families, etc., we all have to put our dreams aside to make the world go round.
One day your kids will grow up and you will be old. What would you want them to do? Follow their dreams or sacrifice their life to take care of you? Ideally some kind of balance right? So why don’t you lead by example, show your kids that mom/dad loves them but he also was strong enough to design a life he loved. ❤
Keep sharing your wisdom Ali!! My family had been convincing me to start a skin care routine for like a decade. And the last three years of that period, i had bad acne, however I still didn't listen because skincare felt more like a vanity thing and seemed trivial. One skincare video from you changed my whole perspective. I just use cleanser and moisturizer and my acne has vanished. Thank you so much !!
I'll probably never meet you to shake your hand Ali, but you've inspired me on my drives to work and home, during work etc and I hope to one day be able to take care of my family. Thank you for inspiring me
Actually like these type videos much more than the fully scripted videos. Seems so much more authentic and reminds me a bit of the study videos of Ali.
This exercise looks more of a goals/habbits list. I did something different a while ago which is a "perfect routine". Basically I wanted to see how far I was from what I consider to be a perfect normal day (did one for week days and one for weekend). Then I compared to how different this routine day was from the ones I have. This made me feel grateful once I saw some parameters were already being (kinda) met, and showed me what I needed to focus about so I can approximate my current normal day to the "perfect" one.

Don’t you hate when you’re young and you buy a Porsche 911 just to realize it doesn’t align with your ideal self! So relatable! I hate when that happens to me.
I’m proud to say (in all humbleness) that I’m pretty much living your ideal state life (minus the music jams and creating videos whenever I want ). I actually like what you’re doing with this CZcams channel and I think I will do that next. Also I can’t fly private whenever I want (although I’ve been lucky to fly that way half a dozen times) - that’s one I would like too. Don’t “LOL” it. Very possible for you.
I was doing the recommended exercise, and I found that I was a lot closer to my goal than I thought. So the Ideal End State exercise helped me focus on what I could improve, while at the same time giving me some gratitude for the things I already have in place. My personal goals and outlook on life have drastically changed after so far beating cancer so this exercise was extremely helpful. Thank you Ali, keep up the great videos. Thank you for the effort you make to come with this content , but I would love to share my perspective, the more we design our life and try to structure it , the more tired , exhausted human will feel , we are not meant to design our lives but to live each moment and enjoy it with its good and bad , of course you have to put basic principles of your life but not to design it in details , sometimes waking up without knowing what to do can be great and healing , what makes life awesome is the experience you have facing the unknown… my sharing my perspective from a 43 years old ex doctor , thank you 🙏

So this week my ideal life would be that I own a cadaver dog and help solve missing persons cases. Next week it might be that I’m the lone witch in a small community. I’m hoping some of your followers might have tips about how to set aside the current hyperfocus and drill down to the key ideals 💖

Often our dreams and goals require effort. It’s uncomfortable and can be frustrating and in our current society we don’t like being uncomfortable. Therefore we often aren’t doing the things we dream of because we fear discomfort and change. 😅 me included!! I think this exercise would be helpful to repeat quarterly to check in with your goals and if you’re really living them. Also the cool part is that sometimes you realize you can start doing that thing you want to do sooner than your end goal! Boom! Living your dream life today 🎉 no one said it would come all at once 😉
Congrats Ali!!🎉 you are such a blessed man. For me, my goals are quite modest. I'm from poor eastern European country and my goals are move to Ireland with my BF (it's western European country and I can only speak English), find a job, house and be able to afford have a kid (or two kids). I would love to see New York and Morocco once in a lifetime, so I hope I get there. I can't be picky about a job, because I have a uni title that is useless in Ireland. So I'm saving money now and will try to move there in a few years. I hope my Ireland dream will come true

Hey Ali. I have ADHD, and often use your videos as motivation to get on top of tasks and to stay more organised etc. It's obviously not always sustainable or applicable for someone who has executive function challenges. Please please can you make a video series about productivity, while having ADHD. 🙏🙏

Im going to move out to my university dorm next month, so I really needed to hear this. A new section of my life is going to be unlocked

Hey Ali. I have ADHD, and often use your videos as motivation to get on top of tasks and to stay more organised etc. It's obviously not always sustainable or applicable for someone who has executive function challenges. Please please can you make a video series about productivity, while having ADHD. 🙏🙏
