I would say it's very underrated, and the maps are so big because of the vehicles and need for teamwork.
United Offensive was an expansion that (I think could work nowadays without COD 1 but then it couldn't.) Same goes with the Big Red One, that was like a Game of the Year edition. I remember when COD was a HUGE breakthrough and was really original.
I forgot about how much i loved watching Rays videos.

Big Red One was the Version of CoD2 that was on PS2,GameCube, & Xbox. While CoD2 was the first Next Gen CoD on 360. It wasn't an expansion to CoD2 it was a spinoff.
i cant remember the last time i had fun in a call of duty game, must of been back in the days of CoD 2 on pc
Nice, actually helped, I was way too cautious my first attempt. Watched this...went blitz mode, did it second time. Albeit with a 3.29.7 time lolol.

yeah i will agree with you on that, i mean campaign is fun but once you beat it on veteran , it's just not as exciting anymore.

CoD5 for PS2 was World at War as well. So pretty much the same thing except the multiplayer wasn't as good.

Except for the fact that they still have a large (although much smaller) amount of players still playing the last installment when a new one comes out.
You know like i don't like about CoD? all the achievements are in singleplayer (and spec ops in mw2 and 3). I'd like some achievements for my constant multiplayer playing

I admit, if I didn't have a good group of friends to play MW3 with, it would probably be excruciating and I doubt I'd find it fun. That said, if you do have a group of people who you can play with, it kind of alleviates the "COD players are annoying" argument and the multiplayer really isn't that bad
I would enjoy this game alot more if they added more variety to the DLC and between the games.
My solution was to never buy another one until they add a little more variety.

I just had an idea for blackops 2. Spec ops missions with zombies as the enemy's. Thumbs up if it sounds cool.
Call of Duty is like fast food, easy to enjoy, but shove enough of it down your throat and you get sick of it. Kids love it though, can't get enough of it.
