I kept telling myself that I'd finally make a Suho x Jugyeong video this week, but of course these two completely hijacked my plans by being so damn relevant to my tastes. As I've said before, I'm an advocate for the OT3, but everything about this particular relationship makes me feel a different type of way. Seojun is my absolute favorite from the webtoon, I really adore his and Jugyeong's relationship there and it's making me HELLA upset that the drama gives us all those glimpses of their original story without actually comitting to what could've been THE friends to lovers slowburn. I'm already preparing to get my heart broken next week. Ugh, WHY ARE INYEOP AND GAYOUNG SO GOOD LOOKING TOGETHER??? Their chemistry is killing me.

I purposely have not watched the last four episodes of Start-up and I am afraid to watch these last four as well. Usually I watch True Beauty episodes as soon as the subtitles are ready, but this week, I have been putting it off because I know how much it will hurt to see his heart broken. In Start-Up, by the end I didn't feel that Dal-Mi deserved Ji-Pyeong, so I was kind of ok with it. But in TB, Ju-Gyong is just an inexperienced girl who is clueless about boys and can't see what Seo-Jun feels for her through no fault of her own, and Seo-Jun is too much of a gentleman to go after his best friend's girl, no matter how long he is absent. At least the world now knows that Hwang In-Youp is one of the best actors Korea has. I can't wait to watch him star in many shows and movies in the future.

Honestly there is a chance that it ends with her being with Seojun since in the Webtoon she never dated Suho she only flirted with him in highschool but after the time slip she was with Seojun for quite some time! Or maybe it ends with her being single, it can be the case as well. (And of course there is still the possibility of Suho getting her back but I'm not sure about that).

I guess that he will help Jugyeong and Suho to come together again and then start his singing career to get over her. It's breaking my heart to see how hard he tries to move on from her, from deleting their pictures together, throwing away that cast with her writing to the point that he would even confess to just get rejected by her. His character has seriously won my heart over, and tho his screentime is short they did a good job with showing his character development, much more than the webtoon. And props to In Yeop for outdoing this character in the best way possible.
I really do wish he and Moon Gayoung stars in another drama together, their chemistry is just undeniable 💜

I think her relationship with SeoJun - the fact that they’re actual friends - makes so much more sense for them to be together in the end. Like SuHo is her first love, but SeoJun is her true love.

I honestly really hate how people use the excuse of since Suho saw her bareface first, he knows how she looks like without makeup, he met her first, and so much more.He should be the one to end up with her, and how Seojun only loves her because she's pretty. Just because they met first, doesn't mean they have to get together. Or how they always say that Suho loves her bareface, while Seojun loves her with makeup. When you can see in the webtoon and drama, he clearly doesn't care about how she looks with or without makeup but people just ignore that. Another thing I find weird was that how in the webtoon when Jugyeong broke up with Seojun, people were saying that it was the best for them. And I completely understand why they broke up, however I don't understand how when people say that relationships doesn't always last. But when it came to the drama, they wanted Jugyeong to go back to Suho after he came back to Korea...people in relationships breaks up for a reason, and they move on, even when it's their first love. And in this case, it applys to both of webtoon and drama. One thing I don't like about kdramas is that I've find them always focused on someone's first love. Which is perfectly fine, however it's never realistic. Not everyone is going to end up with their first love, so it doesn't make sense to me of how it was ok for Jugyeong and Seojun to break up in the webtoon. But it's ok for Jugyeong and Suho to end up together in the drama since they're each other's first love. I don't care who ends up with her. But I hate that people are making excuses just so that Jugyeong and Suho can end up together. When Seojun is clearly a good match for her too.
Mostly everyone is just trying to defend Suho because he is ML. People even say that they are mad that Jugyeong said that she didn’t miss him in the preview. When I honesty think she has every reason to say that. 1.They lost contact/didn’t contact 2. He might have even broke up with her 3. She is in the middle of trying to forget him. He himself seemed like an idiot when he said he missed her after not contacting her for 2 years. I know both of them were hurting but you can’t just come back and say you missed someone you didn’t contact for 2 years. I think that it is being very rushed. If they even try to make Seojun and Jugyeong get into some kind of relationship, it would be ridiculous. They have so much chemistry and their time together(episodes left)is too little to show all of their progress together.How can they even begin to get together in 2 episodes. As far as I know they aren’t even planning to make a season 2. I hope they have a good ending where all 3 of them are happy.

And just like in the webtoon, I hate it how the writer made them broke up then trying to have Suho and Jugyeong a moment with each other. It seemed force. I don‘t really like how they said Seojun is toxic and bad when he confessed to Jugyeong and tried to give motives on her(drama) after Suho left for 2 years. They said that Seojun didn‘t respect his friendship with Suho. I don‘t really want to hate but Suho‘s character is not crafted well in the drama. Seojun always cared for Suho and Jugyeong but neither of the two cared for his feelings. In the webtoon, I really hate it too how the readers said that it is better for Seojun and Jugyeong to break up, their relationship was created but she will end up with Suho because he is the main lead. So far, in the webtoon I can‘t see Suho being deserving of her love except for the fact that they have common interest, he is her puppy love and he is suddenly trying to comfort her now that Seojun is busy. Even in webtoon, Suho doesn‘t care about Seojun‘s feelings for her. After not a long time and fortunately jut more than a month that his both friends broke up, he is trying to give motives on her. He can‘t even ask Seojun if he was fine after breaking up with Jugyeong. Suho‘s character was centered on Jugyeong which made it acceptable and really fine if he ends up with her. If he won‘t end up with her he will definitely be nothing. This applies to drama and webtoon.

The other character I see that was equal to Seojun's character was Soojin, but if you've caught up with the recent episodes, there's such a big difference between these two. Seojun was literally like the blessing in disguise throughout Suho and Jukyoung's relationship. Instead of trying to get in the way or separate them, he helped them and gave each of them advice on how to better the relationship and clear some misunderstandings between the two. I mean he was clearly playing cupid even though he was really hurting in the inside D: And idk bout y'all but the fact that he stayed by Jukyoung's side for 2 years and helped her heal herself instead of trying to throw himself in a relationship with her just makes my heartache. I bet throughout those 2 years, seeing Jukyoung suffer hurt him the most since he played the boy bestfriend role in her life throughout that time. I hope they give our precious boy a happy ending at the least if he doesn't end up with Jukyoung cause damn

This was never a love triangle, this was just two characters in love with each other while the other one sacrifices his happiness for both of them, seriously he’s been there for both of them through so much. The least he could get was a decent ending, I understand he debuted. But when Jugyeong was applying lipstick to him I was crushed, you could clearly tell by the way he looked at her he wasn’t over her yet. I wish we could’ve seen some more of him as an idol, he really carried this show. Regardless Hwang In Yeop has done a brilliant job bringing this character to life and it’s unbelievable that this is his first main role, he had a natural chemistry with everyone and I will be waiting patiently for his next project where he is main lead

When Jukyoung's secret got exposed I bet Seojun wanted to be by her side too but knowing that it was probably best that Suho takes that job, he went out and tried fixing the problem by confronting Soojin, finding the bully and protecting her image

guys, can we please remember that suho has been through so much and had to grow up living by himself?! yes, seokyung is cute but juho built each other up and it made them stronger. juho deserves to be endgame but seojun deserves happiness.
The director should have made this series for at least 20 episodes so that we can have some moments between Seojun and Jugyeong. And if he really wants Jugyeong to end up with Suho and makes team Suho happy then he should make team Seojun happy too in another way and don't leave Seojun heart broken. This baby deserves all the love because he is so kind towards Jugyeong and loves her from all his heart and even care about small things about her.

Seojun’s love is the purest, unconditional, most organic kind of love. He doesn’t need a reason to love, because it grows in him naturally. His feeling is full of unselfishness, patience and protectiveness without any sense of possessiveness.. simply seeing her happy makes him happy, even though they couldn’t be together.. he loves her because it’s her, not because he needs her. It’s a mature love..
Suho’s love is the typical first love. Innocent, cute, heart fluttering, it leaves imprint in your heart, you believe it’ll last forever and would do anything to have her. They have many reasons to fall in love cause they’ve been there for each other in their hardest time and grew together..
Whoever jugyeong end up with in the drama, for me Seojun will always be the winner.. first love might will forever be in our memories, but we all need that kind of mature love for the rest of our life..
I wish we all get our own Seojun in our life..

The fact that Seojun knows that he won’t end up with Jukyung AND respects the fact that her and Suho are dating by waiting permission from Suho to confess to her.. are you kidding?? I was team Seojun from the start and I am happy I am EVEN if they are not endgame. I am glad im in team seojun because every single scene of hwang in yeop and moon ga young there is tension and chemistry between them and I know im going to get attacked from this but eunwoo and moon ga young does not have chemistry at all in their scenes. Even their kiss scene was not as romantic as the scenes in with hwang in yeop. Tvn is lucky to have hwang in yeop as Han Seojun because he portrays the character really well. WELP THERE IS TWO EPISODES LEFT and seojun hasn’t confessed to her after two years, I will be mad if seojun doesn’t have a happy ending, they only make him look really genuinely happy whenever he is with Jukyung :(

Well, I know they won't be endgame, but the relationship they have and the love Seojun has for Jugyeong is really wholesome. Why do they always make such lovable second leads and torture us til the end? I actually feel really bad for Seojun's character. He deserves so much more :')

let's just be honest: this second lead is one of the best second leads that k-drama history ever had. And the hardest second lead syndrome. I mean he made everyone fall in love with him, even the ones who started watching for the actor who plays Suho's role. The way he represents his role is on top. Everyone could see every little thing about his character...I am in love with Seojun and can't believe that after a week it will be over
There are ton of clues leading up to him being first male lead but it is not certain.
