No. But she has the potential to win some races if she is not defeated by the weight of expectations of sponsors and fans alike. Needs to run faster in 100m. Needs to run under 22s consistently.
@@surunitemiakanni-oye4346 pretty sure that 21.80 last night solidifies her as the BEST, not to mention what’s she’s done in the last two 4x400 races. She most likely would have taken the 100m title too if she’d have come out of the blocks better.
I'm from Ohio and live in tempe az. now. But follow all ohio sports. That includes high school. Looked at the results from 2015 state track meet and saw the times of a 9th grade young women and now it has been a joy to be a fan from a distance. What a fine person she is. Will retire next year and will go see her run in person. Her mother and father must be very proud!
She knows the secret to success; set achievable goals! This keeps one motivated as the goals are moved towards, and then achieved. Then new goals can be set.
This girl is freaky fast. That's undeniable. Physically, she looks like most girls her age. Not especially tall or muscular. I don't know what makes her so fast but I love to watch her!
@@madman1rug Favour Ofili, who defeated Abby 2 x in 2022, is about 5’ 5” and slimmer or a bit lighter in weight. Height is not much of a factor in some sports or in the making of champions.
Abby is extremely fun to watch - just when you think that she is running as fast as she can, when she gets near the finish line, her after burners kick in and woosh, her opponents are only part of the background!!! She interviews very well and you can't help but like her. I would love to have her as a granddaughter.
2022 World Championship is this week. For sometime I’ve thought her running strength came from her erector spinae. I’m now convinced it’s from her heart.
She wrote her goals down..... "ON PAPER"??!???! Really, where else does someone write something?? I typically write on Lasagna noodles... or sometimes I write on small kitchen appliances!! 0:50
Abby is 22 and still not able to break the 22s barrier in 200m. 19 yr old Favour Ofili has done 21.96s this year, setting the 200m collegiate record. With gym work and strength conditioning - maybe Abby could come close to the marks you set for her.
6 years later, she is the best!!!!!!!!!!!
