Great review series. Thanks for the info!!!
For everyone wondering what printer you need, this machine will only pick up from inkjet printers, not laserjet printers! Hope this helps
This is incorrect. It REQUIRES source print from Laser or Photocopier, and will NOT work with Inkjet.
Great video brother
This machine is the only viable i think, i hate the others and love this one so mutch.
my dreamed one
I use 4 years this one. Best definitly.. one trick when put stancil paper with print inside the Maschine and when lamp start to work, hold the paper 3-5 sec. after that time let the stencil to be printed. I use speed on "9-9.5" you become perfect precise lines 😎
If I understand you correctly then that way I have experienced that people burn carrier sleeve. But everyone have their little tricks. Thanks for input
@@TattooShopTalk thank you for responde 👍
I buy this machine pls any website link?
Anyone figure out what type of inkjet cartridges are visible to this machine? I have an A3 epson that don't want to replace but it's invisible to this thermal copier. I am hoping a different brand of cartridges might work?
Machine page link?
I’ve got 2 of the old 3M machines from the old days. Thank God! I’m old enough to remember mimeograph machines and I stocked up on machines and bulbs 20 years ago!
What are those? I see on some pages that mainly people in US are big fans of them. I have only seen pictures of them but never a video of them being used.
Can you tell me which printer do you exactly use? Because I've got an hp injekt but it doesn't work with the print. But with the test paper wich comes with the stencil printer it works perfect so I think it's a problem with my hp printer.
I use HP DeskJet 2620 and for some Konica Bizhub C250 but big one is just because I happen to have it
I wish these were just a smidge cheaper....I use the thermal copier with my regular printer and it works just fine but I would like to upgrade to one of these or a brother printer as well
Yes that price hits hard
Yes you need to print your design from a laser printer. That's the type that works. Ink cartridge printer no go. These also work great for printing from pencil drawing
Never used a laser printer. Works fine with cheap cartridge printers. Thanks for tip with pencil drawing. I know it also works with some marker pens.
@@TattooShopTalk Do you know what type of cartridges? Mine is invisible, only laser working 🤨
Where can I get the plastic test sheet? Or does someone know what’s it called cause I already have a printer but need that plastic sheet. :/
If I understand what you are looking for then it's a - plastic stencil carrier sleeve. Most of suppliers selling machine would sell sleeve and there is somewhere in comments someone mentioned budget friendly Amazon DIY alternative.
Does anyone have an issue with getting there finer details coming out with this printer? Every time I try and get the finer details I just end up with big splurged lines and a muddy stencil? Always. only time it doesn’t is if I make my stencils a bit larger, anything fine line usually comes out messy. I’ve tried duplicating my stencil on pro create for darker tones but still same outcome
For super fine līmes this one is tricky. You have to find right speed. You can also try there are them colored sleeves that supposed to make things easier. On app level you can copy new layer of design, set blending mode to multiply and on top level increase black in Levels (ctrl/cmnd + L) for Photoshop or Curves in Procreate
can u try laminating machine for stencil paper ?
Episode on that is coming soon.
I just ordered the thermal printer TIM. Have you heard about that updated machine yet? Thanks!
It is not a successor device, the device TIM is not from the same manufacturer.
how has it worked for you? I am thinking of ordering the same, because I can't get this device in the video.
How has the TIM copier worked for you so far?
I have this machine and it has always worked well but now it isn't. It's not picking up the whole image or it comes out mushed together. Any tips on cleaning or repairing?
It might be a time to change bulb. But first try to clean it and rollers. And check if there have been any changes to printer that you print your designs from.
Thank you. I’ll try that. Appreciate it!
Im wondering which of printers will be the best choice for fine lines stipple/pepper shading 0.18/3rl 0.40/1rl ?
Epson with ink stencil ecotank or something small thermal like brother or m08f phomemo.
??
I haven't worked with Epson. I know shops that use them and mainly do styles you mentioned and they still use - only complaint was that Epson stencil fades faster
@@TattooShopTalk thanks for anserw :)
I heard that every thermo printer have problem with extra fine lines , can be that epson is only choice for this kind of work
I can't comment on super fine line stuff - I imagine that Brother would have too many ways to have errors - with fold marks or missing a line. Maybe latest versions have figured those issues out but I have not tried newest ones
is it possible to achieve the same result with a laminator? Instead of this expensive machine?
I have not tried it and I don't think it's same principle that's working there but I am not sure and I have not tried it
No
if you or your wife or your grandmother already have a "cricket" which is some kind of a machine they use for arts and crafts I actually was just messing around with it one day and it will work for tattoo stencils😂😂 then after I made a few smaller stencils I got on here (CZcams) and seen there is tons of videos on how to use a cricket machine for tattoo stencils lol but if you don't already own one or know someone who does then I'd just buy a good stencil printer cause a smaller cricket is as expensive as the "s8" thermal copier is...actually they are more so
I bought eclipse v3 thermal copier but I don’t have this transparent park which helps u to put stencil. Where can i buy it or what is the name
Also I can’t use stencil paper for hand 🥺
Hand stencil will not work
It's just called stencil carrier or stencil carrier sleeve at most of suppliers who offer this type of a machine
Bought this brand new, worked great for a month, now it just gives me either a full blob or nothing - no design in stencil.
Tried reaching out to company that sold it to me (PP) and they won't help.
ANY advice from ANYone would be appreciated.
Doesn't it have a warranty?
Is it a big deal if you leave it on while not being used ?
It's better option than to switch it off too soon
Whats the name of that big machine from Germany
Panenka
Where can I buy this machine
From your local supplier most likely
Hi! The name of this machine?
It's just called Thermocopier A4
What printer is this?
It is Thermo Copier A4 by KW-Metalltechnik

Hey everyone. I’m having an issue with mine for the first time. It’s not printing any stencil for me. it was working last week and I’ve had it for 2 years or 3 i think. I
Have you changed printer?
Hey thanks for responding. No i haven’t change printer. I haven’t changed anything. The two printer sheets didn’t print out the stencil yesterday. So i grabbed a print paper that i already used last week that had the outlines for a design. So i put that in to see if it works and it does. It printed out a stencil for me. I’m confused, is it paper?
I have never heard that paper might be an issue but if it worked then maybe. Usually it's printer ink causing issues or print being too light or too thin design
I´m surprised that someone like you, tattooer and reviewer, doesn´t knows about the inkjet system, it´s like a mmillion times better than any other system, much less cost of money than these expensive german prehistoric mosnters, and you can even print photo quality stencils with ease. We used to work with Brother printer at our studio, but since we bought the inkjet ink and the Epson printer it sits into the drawer.
I know about the system and I have heard as much good about it and as much bad. I see absolutely no reason to invest in it other than curiosity. Also I don't dig the super defensive vibe of users of that type of system
@@TattooShopTalk XD the "super defensive vibe"... You know? That's something that I wouldn't really care about any good product that would help me for my business. Enjoy your printer.
you obviously don't understand anything

Hi bro i live in Sweden and recently started to learn tattooing and I really need one of those printer's i heard about that you live in Denmark and bought printer's like secondhand can you please help me and sell one of your old printer's to me I'll be very thankful I'm short in budget but i can afford it like secondhand i did search everywhere and didn't find any type of printer's secondhand
I am pretty sure that there's bigger market to look into in Swey
Okej tack så jättemycket
Hi
Hi
the german dream
The Germany dream - good
I have a3 ,but for realism it's a big shit...all the shadows of face are just a big spot black
You have to work your stencils for realistic. Have you tried Photocopy filter in Photoshop ?
This guy hates stencil waste 🤣
And waste in general
it's really ridiculous that a 1000 euro printer doesn't come with detailed instructions on compatible printers. why should I spend all that money and then not know what type of printer to buy. ridiculous
It says what types of printers in their user manual and you can download it.
with the brother printer you can use the same sheet like 50 times just put printer paper and the stencil paper together and run it through
I am not sure I understand but it's sure interesting
I prepare the stencil on Procreate on the iPad, then I send it to Photoshop to print it to size and then you can only print it with laser printers, so this printer costs a lot and you also have to buy a laser printer.😅😅😅😅😅
I use with cheap 30€ ink printer from grocery store
