Fabulous video! Great instruction! I learned a lot including discovering what evenweave looks like😀 Thank you💕
THANK YOU for not putting music in the background. I can actually hear your voice and the instructions. Brava!
You are some sort of wizard or magician. I’ve been stitching since 1990 and I’ve never thought of this. Thank you!!
Do you have methods for even weave, 25 ct, one over one? What if you have a stitch that is all by itself, nothing around it on one over one?
That buried waste knot start is a game-changer. I've often struggled with clean starts for single threads, as I use loop starts for two-thread applications.
I am glad it was useful for you :) thanks for watching
Fantastic tutorial!! i have learned alot, you showed starts and finishes that i have never seen or tried.
There is also a loop start you can use for variegateds/overdyeds called one strand loop start......there are a couple youtube tutorials showing how....
Cool. I’ve been using the loop start for years but the knot ending method is brilliant. Thanks once again. I always learn something new from you every time I watch one of your CZcamss.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing this. I just started working with a lap frame and these techniques will come in very handy 🙂
I've only just found this tutorial- thank you I have learned so much. I will certainly be practising these stitches.
So pleased your channel popped up. This was so helpful, thanks so much! Has made such a difference to my stitching not having to flip everything over. New subscriber too! Greetings from the UK❤️🇬🇧
Wow! Thank you for this video! I really need to practice
Thank you SO much for taking the time to do this video! It’s brilliant 🤩!!! By the three minute mark, you identified why my waste knot wasn’t catching the floss. I was coming up in a hole rather than the middle. And, you have convinced me that it’s time to put on my big girl panties and try the pin stitch. I’ve been avoiding it because as an Aida stitcher, it seemed too difficult but it will definitely be extremely useful in many circumstances. 🥰🥰🥰
Best tutorial I’ve seen. Crystal clear! Thx so much!
Great tips Nicole!! I will definitely be using them. Thank you!! Hugs
That is so awesome. I already do the loop start but finish off traditionally by tucking under at the back. I am doing my first HEAD and the back is getting really lumpy. This will definitely make a difference to my piece. Thanks so much.
Great tips. I’ll have to give these a try. Why did you get the flat scissors from?
glad you like the video, I am not sure they were a gift from a friend, thank you for watching :)
This was the video I was looking for. Excellent explanation. Thank-you so much for posting this…I have subscribed to your channel 😊.
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very good explanation❤
Glad it was helpful!
This video has just changed my life! 🥲
glad I was able to help...thank you for watching :) I appreciate your time :) have a wonderful day :)
Absolutely awesome! I wish I had seen this video before I started my current project!! It looks really messy on the underside. It would have looked SO MUCH neater and I would have been SO MUCH HAPPIER with the project all around. I’m going to try doing this from this point on. Thank you very much for sharing this video!!
I really enjoyed learning these tips. Thank you for creating this tutoria❤l.
💜💜💜

Great teacher method for me
Excellent! Thank you.
Great video, thank you 😊
Cool, thanks
Oh y goodness, what amazing tips you have given me. Thank you!
Hmm interesting that you start your fancy floss with a waste knot why do you do that vs a loop start, I know it's likely to be to do with the way the colours are thru the over dying but rather curious as I'm using over dyeds on a project and I'd like to know before I get to far lol thanks in advance 😍 I do stitch individual crosses just curious about the starting
thank you
Great vid! though the camera looked like it was having a hard time to focus so close up lol. I was going to ask if it makes a difference if you cross stitch one at a time (like you were in the vid) or if you're doing a row of half cross one way and then come back to complete each cross. How would you finish them off without flipping it over?
Yeah, the camera was having a very hard time...to answer your question, I would finish with a pin stitch would be my advice...I hope this helps :)
I used a lot of over dyed threads and ri get a really good shading l use the one cross at a time method...when using regular dmc, cosmo, anchor etc l.will do the first part of the cross then travel back and do the the top leg...and in son.project l will do both methods 😊
Thank you very helpful😊
I learned a lot thanks for sharing your knowledge
2:00 loop method from top
3:08 buried waist knot
6:06 pin stitch
10:14 switch to new color in a row with covering end of previous and start of new color
How about with linen
