I'm convinced Dorothy Hamill was the only one in the world that could pull of that hair style! Dame Judy is one of my favorite actresses and I love this series as well as "Time Goes By".
The way Judi is wearing her hair is far different from Dorothy Hamill's wedge cut, which looked good on many women. Judi's hairstyle doesn't look good on anyone.
Did not find Michael to be anything more than a passable comedian close to irritating at times but his loyal support of Judy Dench was laudable.However in later life on her own she did very well indeed , without him.I like the haircut it is uniguely Judy she wears it well.

That Dorothy Hammel hair did not look that good at all on Dorothy Hammel. Judy Dench's hair is always perfect.
