I believe it has great times ahead of it, if this world does not get itself involved in a Nuclear war! It has an economy many, including Australia, could learn from. Maybe its time our politicians went up to Uruguay, and learn a few economic tips. Unfortunately, that won't happen here, because our Politicians are not humble enough, like Uruguay's former President, Jose Mujica!

Mujica was member of a terrorist group that tried to impose a socialist state by force, that killed people and robbed a lot too. And as most Latin America end up in a dictatorship as an answer to them doing exactly the same cruelty with more sources.

Uruguay has the best "asado" worldwide, people are overall gentle and civilized, life goes on at a pleasant pace. Totally love it (*I'm from the southernmost brazilian state - RS). One of my great grandfathers was from Tacuarembó. Security is a problem everywhere nowadays, but - compared to its neighbors - Uruguay is still unbelievably safe. #VolveréPronto #SaludosAmigos
