I was at this race, well the last 2 nights. I was sitting behind the Vanderweerds when one of the boys flipped (the white car w/ orange cage), and the mom at first jumped up in excitement to see if he could save it, then when he couldn't she was just like meh hes ok... I have talked to them a few times at racetracks and the whole family loves the sport and are tough as nails.

@Hazzaismaname Dirt Track racing is AWESOME... i love all types of cars and racing, from JDM to Euro class, from F1 to the local Dirt trackers. These things are amazing, if u have a track near you GO! the big boys like here are a 1200 Lb. car with a 900hp big block sliding around a track that changes and wears every lap. Drifting is cool to watch but this is AW inspiring if you can appreciate the skill, mechanics and balls that go into it. and when they get it wrong it can be amazing too!

spec sprints (360/cast iron block/2 barrel) do 100mph on a 3/8 mile track. i don't know what these guys do. but, definitely more.

if they did then they are not nascar fans, or else they would know many of their drivers all have sprint car pedigree, most of them start out sprints before they get there big break, i used to race against tony stewart in 410 outlaws mind you he traveled more than we did, we only raced on the west coast. too much cost to head south east and race, we would have gotten killed most likely, west coast is different style then the east, higher banking is more common in the west than the east
enjoyed it muuch better with that horrible music turned off
