I wish the Chopper was in it’s own rarity, like E-tech (BL2), Gemstone (BL2 Community Patch) and Glitch (TPS). So that way, we could have a Chopper for every type of gun.

I have a quick question though, Mayas kinetic reflection can already boost the damage per deflection by 220% at most. So can she get this to work without the antagonist?
@Day May Maya doesn't need girt, she gets healed by the bullets bouncing off due to kinetic reflection, also 220% is more than even B0re which gets 200% each bounce and it kills Hyperion no problem
@Day May BTW the heal comes from her skill having more than 100% damage reduction and after 100% like 110% damage reduction, gives her 10% of the damage to her health
What I wondered is, will it work even better WITH the Antagonist along with a reflection build? Or, more likely, the sham? The sham wouldn't do so well probably because it's just gonna absorb the bullets rather than reflecting them back and forth. The only reflection would likely be from Hyperius back to you, so a strat with Maya would be more involved with Hyperius's bots I guess.

Great discovery. Its a pitty that things like on level incendiary chopper is almost impossible to farm. Pc gibbed editor is a blessing

Yeah true I ended up losing a lot of loot. But thankfully I figured out a way to rocket jump back into the arena with Salvador.

LazyData oh I see thanks for the tip. I’m currently speed farming Hyperius for a corrosive Norfleet. I’m not that great with rocket jumping and it can get pretty tedious when I have to waste like 10 million dollars on grenades lol. So I’ll just use your tip.
Time to bin Zer0 with his seemingly random use of B0re on this level - it works about one in eight visits at best, despite looking like it should work every time. I will pull the same trick with Maya but Axton will be my third choice character at a later date and I will definitely use this method. All of these sorts of videos go into a folder for future reference and there are about half a dozen of yours in there already. Good job.
This method is horrifically inconsistent, don't even bother. Best I got for consistency was essentially this but with salvador, using a x18 shotgun and a grog.
Antagonist just went from Top Tier to God Tier.
Lol wdym antagonist has always been god tier in my opinion. The fact that you can get it from the seraph vendor as simple as that just makes it even more worth while to get. The antagonist is easily the best seraph item out there. You’d think it can only be obtained by defeating the ancient dragons.
when did you realize you still have level 80 gear on? not an OP10 relic or class mod or nade.
The next day. First clip was last night. Second clip this morning. Not that made much of a difference because it really didn't.

Yes, but not a glitch. Bullets are intended to bounce off of Hyperius and shots are intended to gain a massive damage boost when bouncing off of antagonist.

As far as time trials/speedkills go. Does it really count from the moment you shoot him? Isnt the timer starting when the dot or healthbar or both are present?
Because I stopped the the fight the timer starts when I shoot him again. Hyperius isn't active. You can also tell I'm "starting" the fight again on the kill hit because I get the pop up text telling me how raid boss FFYL works.

Bullets bounce between his shield and my shield. Every time it bounces off of my shield it gets an 880% damage boost. Ramp that up a few times and you have enough damage to insta kill him
Is it easier to kill him with your 2nd kill instead of the 1st? What's the difference in tactics?
At the end of the day neither of these are consistent and may result in hours for 1 bite. i find salvador to have a far more consistent time that works most attempts. (Off hand quad with main handgrog for heals). If i were to set out and do this on axton id prolly do the first because far far faster attempts. Also Bone shredder SMG is apparantly a better choice.

One thing I didn't get is what activates the kill skills? They are active before you kill Hyperius, so... Is it from putting both turrets next to each other? Why would that activate your kill skills?
Drop turret 1. Drop turret 2 and pick up turret 1 before turret 2 activates. Turret 2 goes boom and gives a kill skill.

@@yordanzh7618 An easy way to do it if your timeing is off is if you have the longbow skill is throw the first turrent next to you and the second further away or on the ceiling. It wont exactly give you alot of extra time but it could be helpful till you learn the timing.

do we have to use Chopper as for the assault riffle? or any AR will do? like Sawbar maybe?
It's based on projectiles. So Chopper, quad, hydra, boneshredder. The more single shots thrown at it the better. So focus fire rate and projectile count. Boneshredder is one I saw other TT runners use alot.
Does the skill tree particularly matter for this except 2x turrets?
2x turrets and everything that is increasing fire rate is the most important. And grit ofc.

Chopper is for style points. Any gun that can get alot of projectile down range will do. I've alot of Boneshredder use.

Yeah haha. I was growing tired of not getting good ricochet procs and I had the music open already in a tab after Brachy got announced for World. So I played it for a few runs and got it!
Do you think Maya can realistically solo farm Hyperius for the norfleet? And if so, would you consider uploading an op10 run to help us newer Maya's min max it?
I already have a Beehawking video up. After uploading I did it on stream with a PBFG and it's literally the exact same. 1 good drunk doubleshot weakens the bots enough.

Would Casual Flakker / World Burn swap be a reliable way to farm Hyperious at OP 10 on Axton? Obviously not as fast as your method..... but a reliable way? I have both at OP 10.
Technically. I dislike that exploit very much but it would be a way better farming method than this.
LazyData Thank you for the response. I generally agree and only use this for farming. Regular gameplay I just don’t use it. But it is a very quick way to do repetitive fights and I think a good farming technique on Axton. Especially where a fight is very time consuming and Axton struggles solo such as the Dragons.

Technically any weapon works. Just more pellets = more chances. The quad / hydra is favoured on Sal because of Moneyshot too.
I’ll just go with op10 gear against hyperius at lv82 op0 mode an that’ll kill him just as quicker as this method cheese trick lol

Yeah that's a real nutty set up, was this idea from maya's haderax reflect kill? Love seeing the Chopper being used.
Naaa antagonist has been a known thing for a while. However for Axton is relatively newish as far as I know and no one thought to use the chopper before.
It is a nice kill, but technically the clock starts when his health bar appears. So more than "under a second*
Hyperius health bar stays on screen even if you fail the fight (Which I did in the setup). So when I aggro him again you can see the tool tip pop up teaching you how FFYL in raids work is an indication of "hey, the fight is starting now". And thats when the timer begins. This is how Time trials has done it for the last 6 years. From the start of the fight to the end of the fight. Setup not included (Provided the boss isn't active).
@@LazyData I see what you mean, but you can also mimic the same kill with with Maya using kinetic reflection, antagonist, and a slagga. Just a thought. Thanks for clearing it up

Boneshredder. Do note this isn't the most consistent thing in the world. The Salvador one I posted last week or so is far better for farming.

Well if you just want to cheese it there is rock by the gate that will block most of his attacks. If he gets close move back and again he cant damage you. Just stack anarchy before hand and use the bee and fibber

@@thomassears2077 Think you might be going to the wrong spot. One spot is the rock which will block pretty much everything and the other is pretty much right behind you and to the right. Just hug the wall and you only have to use it if he pops up right in fron of you. Even if he hits you you'll have enough time to heal

I wouldn't recommend this as a farming method on Axton. VERY inconsistent. But Quads, bone shredder, Chopper are good for it.

Sal is very consistent. Maya is fairly consistent but needs a kill. Axton you see here and not very consistent. I've seen it done on krieg, not sure how consistent. Can't speak for gaige. However because it works for kreig I imagine with good RNG it works for Gaige too.

For axton, pretty damn low. Sal can walk in walk out as an effective farming method with a quad shotty

Axton can't do raid bos...
For OP8 and lever 72 Axton had many speed kill records. Its normally not as simple as playing salvador where he can literally make any weapon extremely powerful
