Oh Denise what a great idea! You have inspired me to read a bio or article on Glenda Jackson, a British actress. I watched her in a couple of movies and sadly she passed away last year (I think it was 2023). I’ve added the flirting book to my TBR. As for the bombing, I was 13 when it happened and I think I remember it but sadly I was in a cocoon in a small town and the news was not as prevalent then. Also I was probably oblivious. While I probably won’t read Dear Denise for the reasons you mentioned, I will find a documentary to read about those little girls. Like you say, it still is with generations up to today. Sad statement on our country. Hugs to you and your precious daughters.
