i want to point out that team colors were always in teh game, even in the beta, it was just an option to change and it seemed randomly for people it wasn't on. I noticed when a friend during beta was able to tell me which team color person he was attacking whereas everyone was red for me.

It was just a toggle in the settings. It was off by default in the open beta. It's on by default now.

If you're running light you have to run glitch grenades, basically an emp that takes away all abilities / gadgets for a good amount of time

in the last playtest everything was fine, and now my 3080 12gb is ramping up like I'm trying to load a high resolution bump map of Gordon Ramsay's forehead wiggles.
My 3080 12gb is working flawlessly with Ultra settings + Ray Tracing on High with constant 120fps (with Nvidia DLSS)

If you played in higher ranks in the betas, u could see that a light is literally a must, so when u are camping it out,
on 2 heavy’s and one medium, all it takes to completely screw you guys, is one well placed glitch grande, and you won’t be able to use any of your gadgets, no rpg, no healing, no shields etc, then combine that with another light cloaking up and stun-gunning one of you, before you even noticed what happened, 2 of you would be dead.
lights are soo quick and their weapons are so overpowered compared to the other classes( except heavy shotgun, still broken)
With cloak you are able to scout and take positions you can’t do if you don’t have cloak, so you would think that lights are really weak when you are holding down a site..? It’s probably because everyone is playing light like they are playing tdm in call of duty
If your team is holding down a site, you want to sit hidden/cloaked somewhere near, as soon as a team pushes, you want to ping it for your team, then you come up, you glitch the aggressors, 90% of the time you take out at least 2 before they have even got 1 of your team, and then u go back and do the same, after some time you will get the hang of the spawns, so when you hear a wipe, you can already go to tack a nasty position of their spawn and harass them as soon as they spawn, just make sure to not go into a 3v1 ever, you want to kill one of them out of position, then run away, at worst even just glitching them once or twice will win your team a lot of time

considering so many of the steam reviews today mention that the movement speed got nerfed a lot between the beta and full release, I'm surprised you didn't mention it at all
It wasn’t nerfed. The animations were just slightly changed and the default fov was reduced making it seem nerfed
@@izesw It was nerfed. You were able to directionally sprint in beta now you no longer can adding onto the new movement changes. That combo makes the game feel absolutely terrible. And this is coming from someone who loved the beta and got top 1000 in ranked. Games gonna die quick if they dont add it back soon

@apexplayer868 im not sure where the diagonal sprint thing came from so i can't talk about that but the developers said in there discord that movement was not changed. The animations were changed and fov
lowered (which can be changed in settings) and those impacted the feel. I'm not sure why they changed the animations though

I never had any issues with performance tbh, but I'd say the new map definitely felt more intensive than the other maps
I've had performance issues during the beta and for me atleast the game feels waaaay smoother than before
They r gonna need to find a way to give f2p players some good cosmetics bc it's not like apex where u can rock the default and still look good
What do you mean find a way? There's a bunch of free cosmetics in the battle pass, plus you unlock weapon's and gadget's skins simply by playing with them

as a fellow heavy flamethrower abuser, i would like to point out a few nerfs that the flamethrower got (or at least what it feels like since the last beta).
first off, the healing beam now heals faster than the flamethrower can damage, so it's more important to prioritize your target.
second, the range on the flamethrower feels a little shorter than it was before, so it's important to stay a bit closer than you used to.
this is just based off what it feels like to me vs the beta, idk if they're actual changes that were made or if it's just been too long since i played it last. however, imo the changes still feel good. the balancing is strong, and every weapon in the game can be powerful if used right.
For me flamethrower felt pretty op in beta and now is pretty useless.. other options are just better

After playing the release for a day, something is different compared to the beta. All my settings were reverted to default. Took 30 minutes to get it right again. All my progress during the beta was lost.
Why is the AKM's recoil so wild? The gun goes up half the screen in testing. It needs to be fixed.
They didn't nerf the semi auto pistol, they still run around killing people with 3 shots, while it takes 20 shots for an AKM. They need to remove the cloaking ability, unnecessary if you're a good player.
They also need to nerf the flamethrower. It caters to low skill plyers that just hold down the flame button.
Now on to the new map. Why is it so cluttered? Extremely hard to find your way around the Las Vegas map, way too many stairs and deadends. Cut out half the map and take out the fluff. Just too much going on. And why is Las Vegas always at night? Add a daytime mode. The other maps can be played day or night.
Also it seems like the medium class is underpowered. No cloaking ability. At least they could fix the recoil to balance out the medium class, but nope.
You need to balance the teams better too. Like don't allow the same class to be ran by all players. If the light players can cloak and move crazy fast then their health should only be at 50. Especially when they have the broken pistol that magically hits even at 100 feet away.
And ADD A SECONDARY WEAPON! Why do we only have one gun? Selecting a grenade is more complicated than any other FPS I've ever played. First you have to select the grenade, THEN you throw it, then you manually select your gun again. So clunky.
You need to have the abilities separate from the grenades, scrolling the wheel cycles everything, and that's clunky.
When you press the scroll wheel the grenade should throw, not be selected. And there's nothing in the settings that fixes that. That has gotten me killed many times. Wasting time scrolling abilities and grenades. So stupid. That seriously needs to be fixed.
Just change the settings to allow a one button grenade throw. It's not that complicated.
All I can say is thank goodness it's free. Definitely not worth paying for.
