I agree with you on most part. That New Gimmick Weapons are cool, but uterly useless, and that meta is the same. That moving towards "CS:GO" like gamemode is probably bad direction. And i too keep awake at night thinking about The Finals, how good this game is, and thinking about my Document i am making to fix it. But i disagree that Terminal Attack is all bad. Light Class is finnaly viable and can do shit, alot more then on Cashout. Melee weapons are decent, not all bad. But maybe it is just me playing Heavy with Shield and Sledgehammer, and being overpowered. Cool video, makes me think. Wish you good luck and giant box of inspiration.

I love the dual katanas they added in the game just based off of how badass it is to kill an enemy by deflecting their own bullets. But yet it's own gameplay just isn't fit for these sort of weapons when stuff like flamethrowers, rpgs, and the new winch claw completely shut down my fun of using these new toys. It's like why would I even try using the dual blades when the model 1887 does basically the same thing but with more damage and range

Realistically the issue with marksman is little to do with the kit or the role and more to do with the " i'M a SnyPuR" types it attracts who just run off to the middle of nowhere and don't communicate for the entire game.

The move to TA was great. I’m glad they buffed the Light guns since Light has always been underpowered.

You can dislike all you want his points about TA and cashout are on point. However i do love playing the finals casually and competitively at the same time. No other game for me is like that besides this amazing game. This season would have been the best yet if they didn’t do the dumb ranked change.

Game looks great and the idea of the game is great, but the novelty wears off after a few matches, as well as the fact that it’s 50/50 if the game will run well on your PC since the 2 devs used a lot of premade assets and did 0 optimization for them, so you’ve got these 8k textured assets that have no compression to them. Hopefully with time the devs prove the game can rock, but at $30 and a little repeatability this game is going to die FAST, so the devs need to be quick.

Personally I love the game a lot, I'm not a huge fan of cashout glad they threw it out of tournament cuz this shit is unbalanced and unfun. The game is fun and that's all that matters although I'm a bit bummed by the new season, Not a fan of Japan or its aesthetics in general but oh well.

Squad is a such a great fucking game. I love it. It is everything I always wanted a military shooter game to be like. Large scale combined arms combat. I used to be a big fan of Battlefield on console, but I always wished it were more realistic. Then I found out about Squad, Post Scriptum and HLL. I had to get a PC after learning about these games, and after playing I realized Squad is everything I always wanted BF to be. Same with HLL and Post Scriptum. No other games get me immersed like these games. Especially in super chaotic matches, where both teams have good players. Like you said, if you get in the right match, with the right people, at the right time, its can be a fucking great experience, just like the trailers show.

At the end of the day I don’t think it’s the game devs fault the game is the way it is I think that the gaming community at large failed it. This just goes to show that people can complain about AAA devs like COD or DICE aren’t “innovating” and are releasing the same game, but when something like this came out and was actually different and “made the way games should be made” people moved on. I agree with you that it’s a shame cashout mode was dropped out of rank, but like you said the devs most likely saw an uptick in players when they made their came LESS UNIQUE is when more players came.

More SLs need to start kicking people that don't stay with their squad or listen to orders. Getting bumped constantly to a recruit kit (sometimes with a strict time limit to rejoin a new squad or get kicked from the game) will either teach them the hard way or filter them so they can go back to CoD or Battlefield.

Extraction is the best genre out there. Studios just need to get one game that does it right. So far the best ive seen is dungeon borne or darker and darker.

For flatscreen user the camera degree is too high like 120°. And curved display is too bad for ocd users. So it absolutely NEEDS to work with flat degrees like 75-100°

Slorgs, I respect the fact that you put your opinion out here. But some of the things you say dont make sense. You cant just compare the finals to CSGO because of the ranked SnD when other games like Call of Duty do the same. Its also not healthy to just drop meta weapons every season and then complain about the weapon balancing. Melee weapons in the game are and always were a game changing weapon, and they also work very well with the light class. One person who knows how to use both of these to their advantage will shift the tide of a game. Developers changing core game modes to fit the playerbases needs is a good thing. You said it yourself, it was based on data numbers. Is it not healthy for the devs to give the players the game mode they've enjoyed playing for ranked? Especially if its making them come back. The destruction aspect doesnt make search and destroy any worse either, and I would argue that using your environment is a smart and strategic way to clear out the objective or control the site.
