Are you the super high shutter speed guy or VND guy?? 😂
high shutter speed when i use gyro stabilization using catalyst browse, VND when I want to look like a master (ie. Kensei Akatsu). I use the H&Y revoring filter. It has different sizes that supports for different filter sizes. I use a 67-82mm revoring with CPL and 2 to 5 stops of ND.
btw I also enjoy bouldering (been doing for 3 years)

The color shift is very like the polarization effect. VNDs are two polarisers and you cannot get rid of the effect. Thats why one part of your sea looked way more saturated then the other. Fixed nds will get rid of that.
