I own Seltos iMT HTK+ Diesel 2022 model. I had driven both long and city frequently including hill stations. I should say it’s gem to drive in both Highways and city B2B traffic. Very bad roads can be handled by Seltos effortlessly.. you can experience this only if you had opportunity to drive it. It’s diesel engine but still you will not feel any noise, vibration into cabin, it’s more refined cRDI Hyundai creta engine. People who complain there is no fun/joy in iMT I think they are wrong. In iMT you have control over speed and will have gear shift up/down as like manual except a physical clutch . It becomes so easy when you drive b2b traffic. I never faced any DPF blocking, body roll issues unless if you turn in very high speed. I get 14-15 km/L in city and got 22km/L within speed 80-110 in highway.
People who complain cost increases when they give facelift is mainly because of meeting emissions norms as prescribed by government and meeting these norms getting tough from time to time , now we have BS6 - stage 2 with adblue for diesel version. Note total tax including RTO come around 6.5 Lakhs for Seltos in TN regn. Lastly iMT is one of reliable engine as both KIA and Hyundai use same patented auto clutch iMT these semi automatic gearbox is being sold worldwide not only India
Wonderful review!! The performance of the IMT gearbox should be good in the longer run. KIA is loaded with electronics. The diesel engine is an appreciable one because of its reliability and mileage point of view. Mid range should the best choice. 👌👌👍🏻

Just like manuals if we change to 1st gear in stop and go, then no heat issue in IMT
