Bro! That was like 2 gallons of gas and oil in there! You know that thins the oil big time so maybe that’s why you has some seep through the crank seal. If you put some atf in the oil, it might help the seal. The newer oil will be thicker so maybe it won’t leak anymore. Good luck!
I'll see, the next day after that noticed oil on the front pulley again after I clean it off,I got a new crank seal just in case I have to change it rather not if possible I'll try the atf, any suggestions on how much?

@@Turningwrenches85 don’t run it for too long though, viscosity in ATF is not as good as oil. But people used to put a quart in their car engine just to clean it out before an oil change. I figure it’ll help swell the seal and close the gap. Given you had super thin oil from the gas, it seeped out. Don’t change the seal yet until you try new oil first. If it still leaks, then I guess you gotta change it, I know it’s a lot of work.
@MowersNBlowers ok I did change the oil out and put 10w30 in there (off camera while i was filming . then that is when I noticed the oil there on that front pulley but I'll run it again and clean it off and see if it does it again if not I'll change it but it's a last resort and I got it on hand if needed I appreciate the help all is possible bro
John, the engine sounds great. That was alot of gas in the oil! Do the freedom mowers detailng to it when your finished and a good descriptive listing and you should make several hundred profit on that machine! ✌💰🇺🇸

Stupid question but what is the cause of gas getting into the oil…why does this happen….
On carburetors, especially the Nikki carburetors the float needle gets a groove in there that doesn't seat right and gas keeps flowing thru there into the intake valve which leaks past the piston into the crankcase
Hopefully it doesn't have the Nikki carburetor on it i guess it has a blow head gasket gas in the oil 😮😮
So far I didn't notice it but I think the oil seal on the bottom is bad since that puddle of oil on the pulley
@@Turningwrenches85 OH no that's not good news about the out put oil seal leaking that is of itself is not a fun job to replace it
