Love the two tones of this soap. The fragrance sounds absolutely amazing. Hope you Dad liked them.
I'm having a big clean up in my office so have your videos playing so I can catch up. One of the things I did today was to put my 9 loofahs I harvested from off my vine last year into water so I could peel them. I have so many seeds now and contemplating whether to grow more. They need a lot of space to grow and I constantly battled possums and bats who thought they were good food 😄 My neighbour took some of the ones that were on his side of the fence and he cooked on up.

Love luffa soap! Those are great, love the 2 tone with coffee grounds❤️ It baffles me that people don’t know it’s a vegetable😄 I think they get them confused with sea sponges

I was wondering what was up with you. I am glad to see you back. Hope you had a very nice Christmas and New Year. Funny, I plan to grow the luffa this coming garden season, too! May we both have a successful harvest!.

Wanted to take a break for the Holidays and then got covid. So good thing I did. But we’re all back to healthy and I’m happy to be soaping again. You’ll have to let me know how your gardening endeavors go. 😁

I use to play with the luffa vines from my neighbor back then in Cuba, not being able to grow any here in USA though. Lovely soap, thank you for sharing and glad to hear you are doing well

Hi where you get the mold for making the loofah soap. Love this idea. Also how you calculate the amount of soap you make to use on this mold? Thank you

Came by to see if there was any issues with luffa/lye in CP soap. We always see them in glycerin soap, but I grew them specifically for CP soap. Yes, I grew my own this year! Did you end up growing your own this year? The ones you have, the walls are sooo much thicker than mine. I have luffa envy. They are really fun to grow, I grew them on an arch trellis, and they hang down. Definitely growing again next year, they are a trippy gourd for sure. The bees were happy too. Hint: The male flowers grow in clusters, and can keep growing out on one stem. The females have a thick stem, grow singly, and there aren't nearly as many. All male flowers usually at first. Just something I learned this year. Thanks!

I did grow some this year as well. Waiting for them dry so I can make soap with them. So exciting ☺️

I grew my own luffa this year and am in the learning process of soap making. The first ones that I did with melt and pour, the luffa seemed too stiff, have you tried soaking the luffa first, before putting it in the soap?

Loofah is really hard to grow in the central/northern latitudes of the US….they have a really long grow period, 200 plus days so it’s good to start them now inside so you can harvest before the first frost.
