Video footage captured the intervention of British police as they confronted American tourists, who were taunting a royal guard outside the Household Cavalry near Whitehall.
The tourists, numbering around six individuals, were recorded shouting derogatory names at the guard and attempting to elicit a reaction while he carried out his duties.
In the clip, which circulated on TikTok, the tourists can be seen pointing a camera at the guard while hurling insults in an apparent effort to provoke a response, or disrupt his position.

To be honest, I even dislike this when people [mainly young girls] do it to celebrities, especially male celebrities, out in public who just want to mind their own business and not have a screaming gaggle of young [mostly] girls treating them like they're circus clowns or zoo animals. People really need to put themselves in other people's shoes and think about how rude and disrespectful it is to treat others, especially people who are trying to just do their job, like they're just a tall glass of water there to quench their dehydration.
