    This video covers the top 5 considerations a yoga teacher must address if he or she would like to create and host a lucrative and structured yoga retreat. There are the five foundational steps to start thinking about before anything else. If you have a journal, I recommend journaling about this now if hosting a yoga retreat is something you feel called to!

    I'm almost done with my yoga teacher training and I'm so excited to do my first retreat. I'm hoping that by the time I get more experience and confidence teaching then the world will be more comfortable with travel. Thank you for the tips.

      Yes! Congratulations on the best end of your YTT. That’s amazing. And yes! You’re on your way to receiving everything you desire and stepping into your power. I suggest keeping a journal and writing down your vision for your future as a yoga teacher. Where do you envision your first retreat? How many people? How does it feel to be fully empowered? This type of writing/envisioning sets things in motion. 🙌🏼💗🌟

    how soon into your teaching career would you recommend successfully hosing a retreat?

    • @buildyouryogabiz
      @buildyouryogabiz  Před rokem +1

      Good question Stacy. Honestly, this depends on the person and level of confidence. I started hosting retreats a few years after teaching so I could build up my student base, so that is one advantage of waiting a little while so you have existing students to market/promote the retreat to. Hosting a retreat is obviously very different than teaching yoga classes and requires a lot of space holding skills. That being said, you may never feel 100% ready and doing your first retreat will be an incredible learning experience, regardless. Trust your intuition, and if you do feel the call to host retreats, I would definitely recommend starting to plant those seeds!

    Could definitely get more tips on how to price …

    • @buildyouryogabiz
      @buildyouryogabiz  Před rokem

      Hey! Let me know what you need help with regarding pricing. This is something k help yoga teachers with in my 1:1 coaching as well as via my business coaching course THRIVE. Most important thing is to figure out what the retreat center charges and then add your personal profit margin on top of those base expenses so that you actually make money. Unfortunately we weren’t taught business in our YYT, and I see so many yoga teachers either losing money or breaking even and exhausting themselves - having a pricing blueprint is necessary - feel free to reach out if you want more support (shaynayoga@gmail.com) and I’ll also plan to create a video here on CZcams to share more tips for pricing your retreats and offers!
