it depends on the fighter and the knowledge one has while using. it actually doesnt work in a real fight. not everyone has the same fighting technique. the biggest flaw with steven seagals fighting technique is that he heavily focuses on his height and reach too much. he doesnt have alot of ground experience when it comes to wrestling or grappling. if he were to be taken down by most professional wrestlers or martial arts that have ground experience like chuck norris he would be fucked in a few minutes. most professional artists like scott adkins, michael jai white and donnie yen are example of artists that quick on their feet and have grapple capabilities and have ground experience with mulitple styles they developed over the years. steven doesnt have that. he focuses soley on redirecting the energy of the attack coming at him but you cant always predict what your opponent will do especially since you dont their style and what they may send at you. it will only get you so far in a fight unless you have any other style you can incorporate to use to fight back. if he went up against an opponent stronger than him and bigger that was equally skilled as him he wouldnt stand a chance. it shouldnt be heavily relied on cause on cause some opponents it wont on them. if anything like most of steven seagal movies he focuses on fighting people that dont have any martial arts backgrounds. if he was proud of his art he would work with others. hes fat and out of shape and could easily get pummeled these days. chuck has kept himself in shape over the years. if anything both in their prime chuck would dominate seagal.
Yeah I agree... Ranger Walker would lose the battle against seagal in donut competitive eating. Seagal is only tough on talking. Norris is tough on work.
