Our hero 🦸🏻♀️ Thank you!!!! My kids and family suffered greatly because of the JW’s 2 witness rule. I had to go up against these men alone. My kids and I just got out last year because of finding out about all the lies just when Leah’s documentary came out. Thank you 🙏!!!!!
That was one of your best interviews, Lloyd! You both have done so much and continue to do so much to help those of us who’ve woken up from the nightmare of having lived in a cult. It was good to hear from Leah again, especially now that her “Aftermath” show is ending. I’m excited to see what she does next! I hope this CZcams Channel will keep us apprised.

As a JW, When you see behind the curtain so to speak and the scales start to fall from your eyes it can be very hard indeed...like Leah said, you just don’t want it to be true. You hold on for dear life to the good bits of it in the hope that it will all be ok. You buy in to all those buzz words that they use to snap you back into order... but it gets harder and harder to play both sides. You can’t unknow what you know. I respect Leah so much, I wish there was more I could do to help people directly escape cult life. I remember my parents talking about L Ron Hubbard, they ran in his sci fi author/literary circles in Sacramento and the bay and were around when he refused to accept his severe debilitating depression/BPD diagnosis. That's when all this started, scientology was a fictional reality he made up for himself to excuse himself from mental health treatment.
There are letters you can find online where he Begged for psychiatric help from the VA. I found one written by him on October 15, 1947. It’s easy to google.
Leah, you are my hero! What you do is life changing and life saving. Thank you for waking up many people from indoctrination and giving them validation for the abuses they have suffered. You've used your platform to bring light to cult influence and for that I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Much love ❤ Lloyd, as always...You Rock!
The JW Leah Remini special was the first thing I allowed myself to watch. I was shocked to hear that the stories were so similar to my own. I thought these things were isolated. Thank you Leah and Lloyd for helping me wake up
I raised my family in “the truth”, an elder for 14 years. A witness for 30 years. At this time, I have lost my fine children (all adult witnesses) but, I have determined that shunning works both ways. I will not associate with ones that cover up child abuse or fraudulently promote “inspired” benefits based on ever changing insight. I have chosen to disfellowship those that continue to promote that which is false. I will walk in my integrity.
Well, i hope you don't mind me answering you. I am a little uncomfortable with what you wrote. I find shunning such a violent and inhuman way to deal with critics, that i can not just read your comment without reaction. I understand why you turn that weapon around, i have felt the same way. But i want to be better then them. I blame them for the shunning, so i can't use it myself. I do not try to associate with them at all cost. Not anymore. But there is a difference between this and shunning. Get indipendent, free yourself from any bindings, but do not shun. It is extreme, it is violent, it is false. And it is distructive even to yourself. If your family ever comes to you, please keep the door open.
@Dag Victoras, it was 5 years ago when I first went to Wikipedia and typed in Jehovah's Witnesses and read that they had been part of the United Nations for 10 years and I saw JWfacts etc. and it opened up a whole can of worms for me. Once I started on that journey, I spent hours and hours researching, sending for every book I could from the old Watchtower books to history books etc. etc. but it still took me many months of researching for me to be fully convinced Watchtower are a bunch of liars, using innocent victims to build their Kingdom Halls and assembly halls and branches etc. for me to be 100% convinced. I had had been a loyal JW for 50 years and my husband had been an elder and we raised our 3 kids in the "truth". Once I was fully awake, I tried telling my kids and they immediately told the elders and the elders came and gave me a visit and they immediately gave a marking talk on me but I have not been disfellowshipped for apostasy but that was the implication so I lost all of the "friends" I had made over those 50 years but my kids still talk to me even though the topics of the Bibe and the religion are off limits. I am there for my kids and they ask me for help a lot and I will never abandon my kids, no matter what the Society has done to our family. I know that my kids are just as indoctrinated as I was all those years. Watchtower is genius at tricking Witnesses into thinking that it's God's one and only true religion and Jehovah is speaking through them. I know because they did it to me and I thought I couldn't be tricked like that and I didn't come in until I was 18 years old. I don't believe that Witnesses as a whole know about the child abuse problem and if they know about any child abuse, they will think that Jehovah doesn't condone it and he will take care of it in his own time. That is what I would have believed and I would have thought that the Society was perfect in every way but I had told myself a long time ago that if I knew the Society had lied to me about anything that it would be my escape. That is why I dug so hard once I read that Wikipedia article. Believe me, I never liked the pressure or the guilt of being a Witness all those years and I was actually glad to find out about the lies. Once I knew that the "religion" was lying to us, the depression and guilt of never being "enough" left and I am now the happiest I have ever been since leaving. Have compassion for your children. Don't hold it against them. They are brainwashed.
Bruder K thank you for sharing your thoughts. I should have articulated my feeling better. I would never shun my children. I have chosen to shun the organization and their teachings. I certainly hope to speak with my children again, soon.

I actually watched Going Clear and Scientology and the Aftermath before I really discovered Lloyd's channel (among others) and got into the ex-JW community. I remember thinking at the time, "Well, it could have been worse - I could have been raised as a Scientologist. At least the JWs don't chase you once you're out." Needless to say, I was amazed and surprised to finally learn that Watchtower is every bit as malicious as Scientology and resorts to many of the same methods. Lloyd and Leah, thank you both for all of your hard work and dedication to this righteous and just fight!
Thank you, Lloyd and Leah, for everything you’re doing to improve the world. It was great hearing your voices together again. Have a fantastic weekend! 🧡💛💜
I woke up because of Leah! After watching 3 seasons of the aftermath my brain was slowly making the link between that Cult and my JW Cult. And because she had my trust I was able to watch the episode on JWs and that began broke the wall of fear. That same day I looked at everything I could in the internet from lol “apostates” like you Lloyd! Thank you both for saving me and my family. My husband stopped going to meetings but has is still reluctant to do his own research. I’m sure in time he will. My two daughters aged 4 and 7 will not grow up in this damaging Cult. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
L Ron Hubbarb was a crazy Narcissistic man. What's striking is that people will follow anything if it makes them feel special. Intelligence is no barrier. Leah is a switched on individual and her stand against this cult is both brave and valuable in equal measure.
Leah is great, really likeable person and has made a difference talking out about Scientology and by making a special about the Jehovah's Witnesses. Thanks Leah if you are reading this
My mom beat that into my head that by reading all the Awakes snd Watchtower magazines I’d have the equivalent of a college education ! ! I just recently discovered that was a braggadocios claim originally made by CT Russel ! !
It takes a special kind of person to be an activist. I listened to this interview and note the intense situations that activists will face. So let me tell you from the bottom of my heart, I respect you both, love you and thank you fighting for us so we can be free.
Thank you Lloyd. I been following your channel for several years now and have been a fan of Leah's for a long time. I've never been in either JW or Scion but feel a connection to those who have escaped their clutches, don't know why. I've seen every episode of Aftermath and read Mike's blog almost daily. I just wish both JW and Scientology would just fade away and let their people live a free life with their families intact. What they do is horrendous. Both at least need to loose their tax free status in the U.S. and elsewhere.
Please don't do that to yourself. When you knew better you did better and got out. Your experience helps you appreciate just how difficult it is to leave these cults. It also helps you to have patience with others who do not know better as yet.
Ozie's Gone - Thanks for your kind words. Although, he who does not know his past is condemned to repeat it. Ironically, I have helped more to wake up in the past few months after I left this evil cult than in the 32 years I wasted there, 8 of which I was a Regular Pioneer.
I was in and out all of my life but the guilt and fear because of the indoctrination lasted 53 years. I'm awake , free and happy. When I knew better I did better.
That was really amazing and inspiring! It brought tears to my eyes to hear just how dedicated Leah is to helping others free themselves from whatever cult they have become entangled. Thank you both for this fantastic interview, and I sincerely hope that the "good guys" prevail soon, and that these cults and their leaders are exposed, sued and jailed for the horrors they have committed.
We who exit know our truth. We deal with and likely struggle with the family and more intensely the personal affronts from family/ friends whatever. At this point in time ...the realities and truth are more public and mainstream than any other time. Leah Remini has been a huge part of this process because of her public recognition and exposure of her own cult experience. Thank you, Leah, for your attention and passion for the cause of helping the victims. This is a TRUTH..not an' overlapping' truth. It will have a resolution in due time...not an ongoing endless lie of control motivated deception. Thank you, Leah and Lloyd, for the Passion and commitment that leads to these expositions that are crucial to heal and promote justice to victims past present and future.
The scariest day of my life was last year when my stepson came home for a visit and told me he had just joined scientology. My momma bear kicked into gear! It took a while and I am happy to say we were able to unbrainwash him and get back all of the money they conned him out of. F scientology and all the so called stars that are members of this awful cult! Thank you Leah for all you do! YOU are the reason I was able to help my stepson get his life back. God bless ❤
"Mike Rinder was in the Office of Dirty Tricks" in Scientology. Would the Watchtower Legal Department with Phillip Brumley & Co. or the Service Department at Bethel qualify synonymously as the "Watchtower Office of Dirty Tricks?"🤔
The special Leah Remini did on JWs is WHY I woke up. She asked Lloyd what you would say to someone who says “there’s bad people in every religion” when speaking about child abuse. That being something I would say... I listened intently to Lloyd’s reply. “Australian Royal Commission”! The rest is history & I’m forever grateful to be AWAKE!

Leah Remini, thank you. My friend who was a Scientologist turned me onto your work. You were a key reason for leaving and she is still is fighting to get her kids out of it and divorce with her husband turned ugly. You are her rock! Thank you, I have my friend back!

Lloyd this is fantastic, in my eyes your work just get better and better . Thank you to Leah for talking to you, may you both never stop helping people and thank you for all your hard work.
Last night I began to wonder if Ms. Miscavage was silenced because she was becoming too powerful as a woman. Her "goddess" persona was competing with Big Dave, the Scientology "god" who didn't want to share his glory.
As soon as I received the notification that Leah would be your guest, I got excited and listened right away. Sad to hear that her A&E expose of Scientology is coming to an end but she has done an excellent job of standing up to Miscavage and his bullies. I’ll definitely be watching the Aftermath show on Monday and will look out for whatever Leah will do in the future.
At that assembly, I remember several parents that were brought on stage to talk about letting their kids die from no blood transfusions. Scared the hell out of me when the audience applauded. Talk about grooming children to have no value in themselves.
When I grew out of some shoes at age 5 I asked my mum to save them for when I was 5 again in the new system. If I could go back and talk to myself I would say: We are not in paradise at 35. We had to survive the whole of secondary school and 6form even though we were promised The End before then, and now we have to work a job like everybody else. Concentrate on getting into uni and get a good job!
That’s funny! Back in 1965, I used to call for butterfly’s to land on me. Thinking if they came to me, the new order was here. Oh the minds of children, such simple thoughts.

Its a cultural/social term of endearment/friendliness mature women (of whatever age) primarily use, which is heavily used among Southern American women. Baby, honey, sweetie, sugar, etc means nothing sexually. You would understand that if you grew up around Gen X and older. Its no different than saying "my friend, buddy, pal, homie, etc."

My s-hero and role model. "God knows I have the energy to go after it". I tell you, this woman is FEARLESS!!! Love your energy, Leah. Another great interview Lloyd.
Our hero 🦸🏻♀️
Thank you!!!!
My kids and family suffered greatly because of the JW’s 2 witness rule. I had to go up against these men alone. My kids and I just got out last year because of finding out about all the lies just when Leah’s documentary came out.
Thank you 🙏!!!!!
Happy for you man. Welcome to freedom. I wish you and your
Family the healing you need.
Jiggy one
Thank you 🙏
We are being sooooo blessed. I had no idea that I knew nothing.
Cult's destroy lives ....
I have always loved Leah, and I have so much respect for her. I appreciate all she does to help everyone. This interview was like listening to a close friend chat about the trauma we've been through. Thank you Lloyd and Leah! I love you.
John, great job! Good for getting the privilege to speak up with Leah! Thank you for being there for us.
Leah is such a beautiful warm person. I really enjoyed this interview. Thanks Lloyd. I’ve shared this to Facebook. X
Leah is amazing! Love that she's on the channel, can't wait to hear your conversation :)
My thanks to Leah for all she does.
Couldn’t help myself Lloyd, you’re our baby & honey too!!! Isn’t Leah just a very genuine, lovely person? Thanks again for all you do! Thanks also to your lovely wife, Dijana & children 🥰🥰🥰

@@davidwicklin9943 LOL, shoulda took a megaphone with you!
My message to all is leave...get out as soon as you can and live a life that you are supposed to live. Nothing equals being free and able to think for yourself.
Thank you for your kind words❤❤❤
@@cherychristopher7016 thanks… I wrote that two years ago now and I am happy to say I have never looked back. I am finally living after being one for 40 years. Not all bad times… but you can’t put a price on an authentic life. All the best
@@sinemetu9037 OMG that's so inspiring I almost get indoctrinated in this cult I have a sister in this organisation she made me studying the bible with her with her own bible she gave me a lot of watchtower's publications to read and she told me that it was the truth She said that my religion is false everyone told me to not listening To her but I did cause I was persuaded it was the truth I was beginning to doubt my own religion with her own interpretation of the bible that's now I begin to wake up with critical thinkers on CZcams I made some researchers without her even know Thanks God now She is in Dominican Republic I almost got indoctrinated 🤦♂️
Anosognosia is a hell of a thing.
Leah, you are my hero! What you do is life changing and life saving. Thank you for waking up many people from indoctrination and giving them validation for the abuses they have suffered.
You've used your platform to bring light to cult influence and for that I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Much love ❤
Lloyd, as always...You Rock!

@@VictoriaOz Thanks Victoria. Watching Leah's show was instrumental in my waking up, even though I'd been out for more than 20 years.
That it is so cool of her to come on. Well done Lloyd.
Wow, big time with this one😂. Nice interview, good work.
I was heartbroken when I heard Leah’s show was cancelled.
Efrain Rivera Junior nooooo what!!!!!
@veronica carlson - Still sad. Regardless of the reason it's off the air. I hope she continues her fight against that cult.
Oh no!! Crap!!
The show was NOT cancelled. She and Mike have made that clear that they have much more to do, which was constrained by a television show format.
@@chigal0926 - I'm looking forward to seeing whatever it is they are doing next.
Just grand! Now, please help those lawyers in New York to do their thing with the GB!
Awesome interview. Final episode is marked on my calendar- can't wait to see more of these horrible cults be held accountable.
Bonnie Wilber It is so great that you have a relationship with your kids. I look forward to that as well.
Time will tell.

Well, maybe i did not understand your first comment right, english is not my mother language. I strongly hope your children wake up soon.
So that you know, I've put a like as soon as I saw notification of this video. Thank you both!
I was in the Watchtower Org. for 20 years. The fall out after I left is not comparable to any other fall out I have experienced in my life!!!
I can’t believe how many parallels there are between scientology and Watchtower.
I find Leah refreshing in her absolute quest for truth - for all, no ego. Lloyd great interview as always. 👌
Shona Ford that’s why the dumb ppl at Scientology attacking her make no sense. She has no skin in this game. Nothing to gain. Ffs.
Thank you, Lloyd and Leah, for everything you’re doing to improve the world. It was great hearing your voices together again. Have a fantastic weekend! 🧡💛💜
Thanks Lloyd. It is heating up.
You made it John!
Thanks Leah if you are reading this
The world needs more Leah Remini’s. Your courage and empathy is outstanding! Thank you Leah!
I love both you and Leah. Great work you guys. Much love from Bay Area, CA.
Thought we were "smarter than most doctors and smarter than most lawyers" - excellent JW-Scientology Synergism of Cognitive dissonance linking!
But that's what the borg told us
My mom beat that into my head that by reading all the Awakes snd Watchtower magazines I’d have the equivalent of a college education ! !
I just recently discovered that was a braggadocios claim originally made by CT Russel ! !
She is such a beautiful soul. I wish I could meet her in real life. I read she's a fellow New Yorker. :D
Oh my, you must have read my mind. I was just thinking of Leah this afternoon. 💞💞💞
I wasted 32 years of my life in the J-Dub cult... Unbelievable.
Daniel Iglesias - I agree; I’m studying to become a Networking Engineer. That’s my revenge.
I was in and out all of my life but the guilt and fear because of the indoctrination lasted 53 years. I'm awake , free and happy. When I knew better I did better.
Mum and dad came in when I was 5 left when I was 49. Hard to feel it was not wasted time... Happy to be free.
Thank you, Lloyd!
Love Leah ,thanks for the video 😊❤
The scariest day of my life was last year when my stepson came home for a visit and told me he had just joined scientology. My momma bear kicked into gear! It took a while and I am happy to say we were able to unbrainwash him and get back all of the money they conned him out of. F scientology and all the so called stars that are members of this awful cult!
Thank you Leah for all you do! YOU are the reason I was able to help my stepson get his life back. God bless ❤
Nice interview. Thank you Lloyd and Leah.
"Mike Rinder was in the Office of Dirty Tricks" in Scientology. Would the Watchtower Legal Department with Phillip Brumley & Co. or the Service Department at Bethel qualify synonymously as the "Watchtower Office of Dirty Tricks?"🤔
When you drive over the bridge into Brooklyn you see a big sign that says watchtower!
They more remind me of the Keystone Cops, but they try.
Scientology is another book company that started a religion.
Easy way to wield power over people and make a lot of money!
L Ron Hubbard science fiction writer. There’s recordings of him saying that if you want to make alot of money , start a religion

I could not love Leah Remini more! "Troublemaker" was such a fantastic read, I could not put it down! Thank you, Lloyd! Keep fighting the good fight! 💪 💛🙂
Spectacular interview! Thank you both for all your hard work in REALLY saving "souls". ⚘🤗

Great guest Lloyd . I might update after I listen to this. Like what you do.
Leah Remini, thank you. My friend who was a Scientologist turned me onto your work. You were a key reason for leaving and she is still is fighting to get her kids out of it and divorce with her husband turned ugly. You are her rock! Thank you, I have my friend back!
When she talked about her feeling special because she had read Hubbard's "wisdom", I remembered that all of us (formerly) avid Awake readers have the equivalent to a college degree.
@Jean Walker. I was thinking the same thing. How many times did we hear that and believe it. Both "religions" play from the same play book for sure.

Last night I began to wonder if Ms. Miscavage was silenced because she was becoming too powerful as a woman. Her "goddess" persona was competing with Big Dave, the Scientology "god" who didn't want to share his glory.
Great work both of you are doing.
People like you and Leah give me hope in humanity. Thank you for this awesome interview! Love you both!

Slowly but surely it will all fall down
all i need from my life is for leah remini to call me baby
Its a cultural/social term of endearment/friendliness mature women (of whatever age) primarily use, which is heavily used among Southern American women. Baby, honey, sweetie, sugar, etc means nothing sexually. You would understand that if you grew up around Gen X and older. Its no different than saying "my friend, buddy, pal, homie, etc."
I want her to call me baby too .
