12:08 As a novel reader, Al is currently pretty important in the story and I think he's just gonna get more important as time goes on. He's currently one of the biggest mysteries in the series, as we've only recently started to get more info about him in the main plot with the rest we know coming from side stories. I'm super excited to see what Tappei has cooking for him lmao
Also really interested to see what they will do to them in season 3, since they pretty much completely cut him out of season 1 lmao. They might have to add some extra scenes with him so he can share info that was previously cut since its super important

“Character relapse”
THANK YOU. One of my fav characters in a game “relapsed” after someone she loves dies. She tried to remain strong but ended up relapsing due to survivors guilt, self hatred, and her own determination to fight against things that she thinks can be changed. What was once a positive quality to go against what can’t be changed ends up being a problem when she wants to fight against something that shouldn’t be changed.
Lots of ppl hated her for it, saying she undermined her own development. But relapsing is normal, and understandable.

27:00 the censor was because some contries have a problem with that content, so the publisher decided to censor in order to broadcast there without anyone complaining, it's sad, but sadly expected, and i don't know what pisses me off more: the idiots attacking the designer like it was his fault or the equally idiots celebrating the censor because it's in a type o character they dislike.
Also, it's amazing how ED can be a wizard even during some trivial conversation tho XD
I think the artist "being attacked" is a claim that's being overblown by the pro-censorship weirdos. Sure maybe too many people were trying to ask them questions to the point of it perhaps bothering them; but many of those replies I saw were trying to be polite and truly just inquire why the anime was censored.

I would honestly say Crusch was the 2nd worst choice even before amnesia. Remember her goal is to break ties with the dragon. And as Betty explained in S1, that same dragon was one of the one's that sealed the Witch of Envy.
So seems like a decision that will straight up destroy the kingdom.
And the worst would be Felt I would say? I love “supporting” her for fun. Anarchy ftw

Most candidates are more capable and more importantly don't actively have a plan that would destroy the kingdom.
If current Emilia that still hasn't reached her final development became king she'd do her goals and the sage council would take care of the rest.
Crusch plan actively involves making it worse for the kingdom. So the sage council can't pick up the mistakes of the her because her plan is the mistake.
Priscilla probably the most qualified. Doesn't want to make like worse for the kingdom, she aquired destroyed lands and made them so prosperous she earned the title of Sun Princess. Second best place of racial equality. Incredibly smart in every aspect of intelligence.
Anastasia, came from poverty and built herself up from nothing. Does have care for citizens as well.
Felt is a bit iffy because of the radical change she wants but at least nothing that directly negatively destroys the kingdom.

Season 2 mostly got affected by covid I think, which is why the production quality wasn't quite as good

One thing was always on my mind. In the start of Frozen Bonds OVA, when Puck unfrozes Emilia, we didn't see Fortunas dead body, also, we didn't see it when Puck finds Emilia 100 years ago. I was always thinking of it like... where is Foryunas body? We see it when Emilia froze herself, Frotuna was right in front of her, and it didn't seems like her body was covered with snow.

You asked why the ones who were censored were designed that way, so I'll give you an answer. The author of Re:zero, Tappei, has aphantasia, so he can't picture his characters. He gives the artist an idea, and they take it from there. They have a lot of freedom in the design and it can even affect how Tappei portraits they. So why are they dressed and designed like that? The artist wanted them to look like that. You can do a lot of speculation from there, as there are of lot of characters in the future that are wearing skimpy revealing clothes seemingly just cuz. The bikini look is a reoccurring thing, and it gets really bland and boring.
I honestly think the character designer is just a horny dude who simply wants an excuse to draw women with minimal clothing.

I'm excited, if we're seeing a new archbishop, i feel like its gotta be wrath or lust. I doubt there's an archbishop of envy, since staella seems like maybe she's alive and subaru seems to be the closest thing to that, and I also doubt we're gonna see pride anytime soon, since last we heard, pride's seat was empty. And regarding the other 2 mysterious ones we saw in the flashbacks last season, I also doubt vanity could have possibly died in that time if regulus hasn't, but melancholy is just a mystery, who knows if he's related to the witch cult or not.

Hoshi is a con person out for maximum profits... I can get that and its a manipulatable mind set. Just be desirable and profitable to Hoshi and your safe...
Priscila on the other hand is like Harley Quinn or Joker; shes in it for the memes and power plays... she is least likely to keep her word and most likely to back stab on a whim.
What? Your read on Priscilla is way off. If you just look at the people accompanying her. They only showed Al for now, but later, you'll see that they neither hold great status nor reputation but they are strangely skilled or has something to show for themselves.
She has an eye for people, she can evaluate the worth of an individual and keep them by her side if they prove themselves worthy through merits.
She looks arrogant but is actually really clever with how she use her dominance to her advantage. She also has the right to be that arrogant since she has the force and status to back it up.
Most importantly, in times of turmoil, she is merciless to her enemies and wont hesitate to cut their heads off. That's why I think Priscilla and Felt feels the closest to the throne among all of the candidates. Priscilla with her incredible judgement and luck, then Felt with her absolute force (Reinhard) and experience as a lower class.
On the other hand, I don't like Purple girl the most. She feels icky yucky and seems to have a lot to hide compared to all the other candidates. She's the type of person who manipulates in the shadows while wearing a cute face and a smile. Basically, she's the first to backstab / drop you if you're not profitable enough which is common in the merchant world she belongs to.
I feel like people don't seem to realize just how cunning and poisonous she is. If Priscilla is the type to spit on your face while beheading you from the front, Hoshin is the type that wrestles in the mud, grabs ahold of you, stab you in the back, twist the knife and never let go... even if she lost her lower body in the process.

Versus say Emillia which might currently be up to 100 because I have no clue her real age thanks to her back story movie and the events seen with mom in S2. I just cannot see it as shes actually less than 20 in age.
Who cares about her entourage; regardless of there talents they do not change the kind of person Priscila is.
Now if you know about her family life then that can be judged as to whether or not her family is to blame or not.

Romanoffs kinda fell like that; Anastasia was the last and I think the Natzi's got her; either way the powerful family got in a situation where it vanished incredibly fast. Maybe more like a year of misfortune but still. Point is; Hoshi I think is based off Anastasia Romonoff but with the mercant thing tacked on.
To be fair I might not have my facts straight there; not sure how well I am remembering the historical fact of her. But Czar or Czar candidate like family to pauper over night and the rest of the power faded over time as the child was to young to defend their business stuff. That is the story I know with the conspiracy removed.
Using GoT as the character comparison standard I see Hoshi as being like Little Finger.

It will be shown in the future anyway so let's keep it simple. Key point I want to clarify is that she's stronger and more skilled than Emilia at least before Emilia regained the memory of her past in the witch's tomb, now in the coming season, they're even.
Furthermore, she's versed in politics and military strategies. She doesn't lose on connections even against Anastasia, and her judgements are on point like Crusch. She is fierce and confident like Felt, and she accepts everyone like Emilia as long as they have the merits and loyalty to show.
Im not saying she's perfect, because she does look down on people a lot. What she said in S1 about the world working for her favor has some truth to it. What I want to say is that she's not easily described as a simple tyrant.
And I feel like you didn't understand what im trying to say above so i'll spell it out clearly;
Priscilla will kill you in the front in front of everyone, she's not the type to hide her blade against an opponent. Anastasia is well versed in masking her intentions and is used to dirty fighting. Among all the candidates, Ana is most likely to stab you in the back, not the front.

We can’t really say much unless you give us permission to talk about cut content. There is a reason Reinhard was asking felt her name, family name, and age when he first saw the Dragonstone Insignia react to her in season 1, episode 3. Why the _FRICK_ is Subaru STILL wearing his Earth outfit this far into the story!? The man has been there at least half a year, probably over a year right? It's time to let it go and integrate into the local culture. You're trying to support a candidate for Ruler right? Then STOP BEING AN OUTSIDER!
He will get a new fit when the anime gets to arc 6. But as of right now, I think the reason why he keeps wearing the tracksuit is because it is versatile for everything he does, and he wore it all the time in the past, too. If there work or important events, he sometimes changes fit, but as of right now, it is his main suit for travel.

By Medieval standards his tracksuit is colorful and high quality outfit that could even show high status considering how soft it is. Also by this point it could've already been recognized as his brand outfit.
