Get some of that chrome paint u can buy now and it is legit chrome finish .. u can find it on CZcams look up “chrome painted with brush , amazing finish “ and then once u see it check in thier description for the product .. it is some next lever stuff it’s kinda mind blowing !!
You could toss those dies into the press you have in the background and get a little more pressure on it.
Don't forget to make them handlebars 👍

It's easier to just use the dies on a regular press
Don't buy the foot pedal just use the press behind you guys then you don't have to fight the threaded rod
I see you switched to a Milwaukee porta band on your bandsaw stand. I built one after seeing yours with a harbor freight porta and after probably 10 uses the rubber on the drive drums crumbled off. Lol
Need to build a mini trophy kart that would be a cool build.
You can get a chrome powdercoat. Or electroless nickel.
Hell yea the bird is killer. Just got done with one a little later model but we put a 79cc and it runs great.

I have a Bird mfg kart frame. Pretty cool, dont have the original dragster front tires. Way too low steering for us fat boys. I might build it and give it to my niece.
I miss my EL Tigre chrome minibike. rana flathead on it was great with the kids.
If you use a step bit, to widen the 3/4" holes the metal ring from the knock out set will come off the dies a lot easier.
Me at 2:30min in... Yeah gonna learn some dimple die tricks. Me at 10min in I'll just gusset stuff with more tube than a Ducati.
Mr RBG do you know what two feller gages I should use on the Colman 196cc valves
Margin - .004" thou inlet .008 Exhaust give or take...you don't want to run your exhaust too tight.Hope this helps & no vested interest.Goodluck.Trev NZ
First they make a nice looking chrome powder coat . Second yall need to make a new set of tripletrees for that , the ones you have on it are WAY to wide ! If you make a set so that the forks end up just wide enough for the tire , not only will it look 5000 percent better but it will improve the turn radius and make it easier to mount a front fender !

What bearings did you use to match the rim with that fork set up?
I see you've been running these 670 predator have you been having any problems with them over the years and if so may I ask what the problems were I was told after 200 hours the valves were shot needed to be redone anxiously awaiting your reply

Can anyone help me out here, I just installed stage 2 kit, carb, valve springs,air filter and exhaust. starts right up on first pull but won't hold idle and after I pull throttle and release it shakes violently until rpms fall back down. Definitely a lot snappier then with stock parts buuuuuutt...
No smoke no weird smells no nothing. Coleman 200 obm parts...
Valve intake set to 5 T and exhaust set to 7 T

I have 3 different vintage mini bikes with 1 inch bars. You can get really nice grips and throttles for them everywhere. Most bikes like Harleys have one inch bars. Most have aluminum barrels instead of the crap plastic ones.

Milwaukee makes a nice knockout set. It's way easier to handle then the hydraulic. Big down fall is the price.
Mark...their called chassis punch's in electronics manufacturing for another use for tube sockets but it's made by a tool & die maker & your basically limited to 1/16" of an inch mild steel,thicker if alloy & turned with an Allen key,also great for making crankshaft main brging spacer shims but that's a trade secret.Trev NZ
I'm an electrician. It's a knockout set. The one he is using in this video looks to be the harbor freight model hydraulic knockout. Lookup conduit knockout and see what you find.

Stretch the back half of the frame at least a foot, that will really help the wheelie issue and you can keep the sprocket ratio!

Have y'all ever built a step-thru mini bike or considered building something along the lines of a Cushman scooter they built a step-thru and a motorcycle type...and if you are going to continue building mini bikes why not build one that's street legal then get it inspected and tag it... there was some available in the 60's that were street legal...
Better have a waiver set up for whoever wins that bike. I build up some minis around me and with some going 60+ I had one drawn up. Gotta cover your buttocks lol

Them tiny frames are not great to work with you should look for rollers with titles and build street legal bikes minibike everything but frame wheels from motorcycle mini bikes are for tiny people lol
