I remember seeing Pyramid Light in theaters when it first came out. Such nostalgia with Blue Eyes Shining Dragon.
I saw it with my mom and pulled the shining dragon in the theater. One of my fondest childhood memories ❤️
What's funny is it technically spoiled the end of the Battle City arc since Yugi and Marik hadn't dueled each other yet in the finals in the dub.

the intro segment was really good. i really like when you're able to do that sort of thing in the beginning of videos. they are good hooks and i remember really liking your upperdeck video that included something similar.
Favorite reprint set always has to be LOB, the nostalgic feeling is everything and it always takes me back to when i opened my first yugioh packs 😊

Honestly the older vintage set reprints. Repeating the process of them in legendary collection can be like "here we go again", but getting that nostalgia does feel great!!

Man do I regret opening up these packs as a kid, I think I still have the DD assailant in my card collection at my parents house, but it’s definitely been played with or loosely kept in my legendary collection binder ahah. I remember everytime we made a trip to the city I made my mom buy me some sort of yugioh product, and at the time these blisters were cheaper then the tins so I had a pretty big collection of the baboon. Opening products myself doesn’t feel the same, but watching these videos definitely brings back the good ole days. Thank you.
Seeing reprints brings back so many good memories! Starting during the OG sets and just getting back into it I love learning about all of them
Newer to the channel but really digging these intros! They give a good bit of information to add context and excitement to the pulls, even from packs I was less familiar with! As for my favorite reprint set, Dark Beginning 1 is a classic!
I have never heard of retro pack until your video where you pulled the blue eyes shining with heavy champion packs. I love that reprint set the most because now it introduced me to your awesome videos! Good luck on your pulls!
DR04 is my favourite reprint set. The whole mystique around it is just fascinating. Some people have never heard about this set and thought that Dark Revelations stopped at 3.
Came back to collecting after 10+ years away from YuGiOh, your vids are a mix of me learning about what came out recently and big nostalgia hits!
Love these sets. Worth mentioning (because I rarely hear it) that you can get the RP02 Green Baboon and Gorz secret rare promos from the packs themselves without the "Limited Edition" stamp. They are a lot rarer on the market and worth a few hundred at least.
I have the Blue-Eyes Shining, Dragon Master Knight, Ring of Destruction, and Archfiend of Gilfer secret rares in my collection. Kinda sucks how a lot of them (like Victory Dragon, Valkyrion, and Ring) were already secrets to begin with. The only other one I would want is the secret rare Light & Darkness Dragon.
You really got me back into Yu-Gi-Oh , watching it , opening the packs , and collecting . Keep uploading 💪🏼
I remember going to see Pyramid of Light in the theater with my friends and we all got those packs of promo cards. Funny enough, we each got a different one of the cards. One got the sorcerer, one got the Shining Dragon etc... We agreed that whoever got the dragon, they would be the King of Games for the summer. My best friend wore that title with pride. That was one of my best childhood Yu-Gi-Oh memories

I love Dark Beginnings 1. I pulled Dark Paladin in my first reprint pack of Dark Beginnings I bought at a school store for good behavior and helped me learn how to balance a check book when I was in a Special Education School.
My favourite reprint sets are the gold series. Not the most popular choice I know, but the gold is just cool imo. Dark beginnings is the other good one I believe
Pharaohs servant is my favorite reprint, i loved LOB but PSV just stuck with me more than any other back in the day. great vid man!
My favorite recently has been Ghosts From the Past: 2nd Haunting, it's been nice to hunt for some of my old favorites in a new rarity, get some archetype filler, and it's the first set I've ever completed in it's entirety for my collection, including a misprinted near-ghost rare The Sanctum of Parshath! Love your stuff, man, keep up the good work!
As a product, My fav are the deck comstructors, because the reprint and up grade on rarities for old cards. Good vibes and good pulls.
It is tough for me to pick out my favorite reprint set because I never really opened many as a kid. A few packs of DR1 and DR2, but I only got back into it recently.
I'll go with a unique pick - I LOVE opening any of the Rarity Collections from the OCG. Cards are nostalgic and beautiful. Can't believe we are finally getting something like that in the TCG this year

That was a fun little rundown of the sets you were going to open at the beginning of the video. Was it Dark Beginnings 1 that had Big Shield Gardna? I'll call that my favorite reprint set, because I remember getting a fair bit of it.
I love the megatins from the past 3 years. Due to the exact opposite of making the reprints more valuable, instead makes really expensive cards cheaper and more readily available.
I also agree that Retro Pack 2 is one of the best reprint sets. I remember wanting that Blue Eyes Shining Dragon so much when I was a kid.
I remember getting that dragon master knight promo as a kid and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Shame it wasn't really playable, but it sure was cool to try it
My favorite reprint set of all time is definitely RP02. I remember skipping school to go to the local card shop and buy one, very nice product.
The only old reprint set I remember opening when I was a child is Dark Beginning 1. It was a really fun set and got quite some useful cards from it, so I'd pick it as my favorite. A DB1 Jinzo or Dark Sage would be great to get. Also, DR4 Cyber Dragon and Kaibaman would be pulls I'd love to see (aside from the great money cards of course!)

I honestly like the 25th Anniversary reprints because I am a fan of old school Yugioh but the 1st ed cards are really expensive and hard to find. As a casual player / collector, 25th Anniversary reprints really hit the spot. Excited for the full booster boxes to come out!
Best reprint set for me is 110% Legendary Collection 2, with Neos and heroes being one of my favorite nostalgia archetypes, I remember buying like 3 of the LCGX 2 binder so I could get my hands on those cards and other staples at the time!
So far my favorite reprint is the 25th anniversary reprints. It's like reliving my childhood again. I also pulled the lob blue eyes in the first box I bought, so I might have a bit of a bias.
Honestly the tins are my favorite reprint sets! Especially 2021, it got me into the game by itself! Once I pulled an ultra rare albaz I was like "who is thos????" And I've been playing it since
Not packs exactly but I’ve loved how fantastic the speed duel boxes have been for edison reprints, and few rarities beat speed duel secret.
I love all 3 of those cards but my favorite of the 3 is the DD Assailant. I had a play set of them back in the day, those exact copy and when I started playing again in 2022 I was trying to recollect cards and I couldn’t believe how expensive they were haha. I don’t know if gold series count as reprint sets, since they weren’t higher rarities, but gold series are some of my all time favorite sets. Dark Revelation 4 is one of the best reprint sets ever though, especially those secret rares. But the Ghost From the Past is probably my favorite most recent reprint set with the ghost rares. All the ultimate rares from the OTS packs are the best of all so if OTS packs count then those, but if mot then the ghost from the past 2.
Retro 2 has to be the best... so many classics! Thanks for sharing I love these older openings!
Magnificent Mavens is probably my favorite reprint set along with the new battle of legends currently and thank you for the awesome video Ruxin!!!
Very close to the dream opening. A bunch of Retro Pack 1, 2, Dark Legends, Dark Revelation 4, Legendary Collections, Gold Series and Premium Gold, packs that could have a Starlight, and 1st ed packs from LOB to DOCS that could have amazing high-end foils. The older the better!
LCGX Supremacy right here! Love those glad and hero in secret rare! Also a ton of cool staples as ultras (future fusion, dimensional prison, etc.)

My favorite reprint set is the battle of legend series, I feel like they always have good stuff. Didn't pull too well this year but always fun to look forward to!
Not really sure if I would consider Dark Revelations 4 my favorite reprint set, but one of my favorite cards of all time comes from this set (super rare Icarus attack).
I don't know many of the older reprint sets; the only one I've gotten were the more recent ones, like magnificent mavens (which had the cool sleeves)
My favorite reprint set is Duel Devastator. Helped so many people get back into the game with such amazing reprints.
Honestly my favorite is probably premium gold: Infinite gold. Maybe not as memorable to most, but I was just getting into competitive yugioh at the time, and was really nice to get a ton of BAs, Ghost ogres (which were very expensive and sought after at the time), and of course Maxx C.
This is gonna sound silly but I LOVE Maze of Memories for reprints. Has both meta relevant cards like Baronne and Avramax but also the Gate Guardian cards, which I always thought were so damn cool as a kid
Dark Revelation 4 is definitely my fav reprint set, the values are just insane, and has so many iconic GX cards
I know probably nobody will agree with me, but I think the first Maximum Gold was a banger in terms of reprints. It had hand traps, deck cores, meta-relevant cards… it just sucks that it was a little expensive
Its crazy how high the value of the reprints in higher rarity is compared to their older versions like the old Game Promos or lower rarity reprints
I really like the battle city reprint set that came out. It’s the one where winged dragon of Ra sphere mode premiered I think.
I know it’s not that great of a set due to the quality control, but I pulled a rare Blue-Eyes from Ghosts from the Past 2, and that makes it my favorite :)
My favorite reprint set of all time is probably Toon Chaos! Chaos monsters, Stardust Dragon, as well as lots of other really cool cards. Also, Green Baboon WAS good back in the day, I won a regionals with Baboon Burn back then.
Love the chase for these cards. Remember opening these back in the day. Dark Revelation (any) were my favorite, just a bunch of reprints that are good.
My favorite reprint set is probably Legendary Collection Yugi's World. The number of great reprints for GOAT format is insane.
Legendary Collection is one of my favorite reprints of all time since it brings back the most iconic packs that we all once loved!

My favorite reprint sets of all time are somewhat a contentious product. I really love the Deck Builder packs like Dragonmaid, Labrynth, Purrey and such. I find all the archetypes have such amazing designs and plays that are usually held back from the core sets. I love being able to open them and see 3 wonderful archetypes and fun staples/older cards that could be fun in a sealed environment.
My favourite re-print set has to be Pharaoh Servant, gotta love the Jinzo use to use him in my old deck, just a classic 👌

Praytell the Dark Magician from BOCH actually goes to the moon. Ultimately, probably the Mega Tins as it can plummet cars price. So the answer is the TCG Rarity Collection
Love the intros explaining the history and stuff. My favourite reprint set has got to be the 2022 tins (if that counts), but that dark legends pack brought back so many memories. I still have that Gorz!

Retro pack 2 is by far the best reprint set IMHO. Especially loved that blister with the Green Baboon.

Not gonna lie any reprints of the first sets are my favourites for me. The feeling I got before opening the packs from a few boxes of the 25th anniversary box is unmatched!
I mean honestly the 25th anniversary boxes are awesome, nothing crazy valuable but love the originals. The dark legends was super cool too, I like that set
BLCR is my favorite reprint set. Made Accesscode Talker slightly more affordable.
Always wanted to open the retro packs to try and pull some of the crazy secret rares. I was out of the game when those sets came out so never had the chance
Has to be the new Battles of Legend: Monstrous Revenge. It has so many good reprints and the quarter century rares are really nice and not too rare, so you can reasonably open couple.
My favorite reprint sets were Dark Beginnings 1/2 and RA Yellow Mega Packs. But honestly I really enjoy all reprint sets.

I think the best reprint sets are the battle of legends sets because they have such good value for reprints as well as having the shiny ultra and secret rares as every card.

I got so much nostalgia from you going over the Dragon Master Knight bundle with the Dark Revelation packs, but I would have to say the 25th anniversary reprints are my favorite cause they’re pretty easily accessible and I’ll never get over that feeling I had as a kid getting to open a few packs and getting super hyped over a rare pull
Best reprint set has to be LOB 2023. I never expected Konami to release a reprint of the most GODLY Yu-Gi-Oh set to ever. Not to mention that it's pretty much the first set to exist.
My favorite reprint set was dark legends. Gorz helped me become better as a competitive player and my pulls weren’t bad.
Such a special video, the dark beginnings packs or retro pack 2 have to be my favorite reprint packs
God I want a playset of that secret D.D. Assailant. I use the card in a Strike Ninja Deck in GOAT, and have a playset in Rare from Champion Pack 3.

I’m a simple American so I never got to experience RP1 and 2, so my favorite reprint sets are the dark beginnings 1 and 2, or even dark revelations 1 because there were so many good commons and rares. Sucks they didn’t have secrets in those sets

I have that Secret dark revelation DD assailant, but it's not in mint condition. The card looks beautiful but the name has a noticeable fold. Sadly. Still my favorite secret I own
