- Imagine a scene where you hear a big block with HEAVY chop, supercharger whistle, and big donk wheels roll up to the line. Transmission brake engaged. Hitting launch limiter. All types of dramatic build-up to a sick launch. And then? A loud clunk and not much else. Shoulda built a rear end to handle all those torques, son. So to save ourselves from that sad scene, we’re hitting up our friends at Currie Enterprises to get that crucial part of our donk dialed in.

Well he did build that c10... and we hear he might be doing a newer one, since they're going to give away the old one. And that's just what's on camera. I don't think we've had "A Beer With..." Zac yet. Seems like it needs to happen.

Honestly my favorite build so far. Scotto obviously is excited about it having been part of the scene for ever. Suppys looks of dissaproval are priceless.

I respect the build & can’t wait to see it done. But what I enjoy the most about this build is seeing everyone involved & showing the entire process. It’s like spending the weekend with my friends working on our vehicles. It’s fun to watch!

With the huge rims and the low profile tires,it's really impressive to see some of these Donks actually putting up relatively good quarter mile times. The ones that I've seen have huge horsepower and the tires they're running on them big ass rims are definitely not the best thing for getting the tires to hook up. The tires are basically spinning all the way down the track with the huge horsepower big block engines over powering them the whole time and they are still able to get 10 second cars out of them. It really doesn't make sense but,it's really fun to watch them.

I felt it when Hert tried to blow off the shavings with his mask on. I have done that a few times at work myself lol
Yep, ive been so deep in it i tried with the mask on, then pulled down the mask and raised the safetee glasses to blow out metal shavings inside a diff cover... had to workers comp that day to the eye doctor.. one of those times where youre glad you got outta work but not because your fucked up and cant even close your eyes to sleep or keep em open and focus on anything so no nothin, just shame...
This project has been really fun to watch, its seeing the interactions of the ensemble, and then seeing individuals shine in their respective areas. Everyone on their own shows isnt as cool as seeing a bunch of folks together.

My dad owned a 73 impala! Wish i could find it, or another one! It was a 275 horse 350, that we threw 327 high lift cam, hei ignition, double roller timing chain, and every trick there is for the stock quadrajet. It was killing fox body fords back in the day!

Zac went from knowing nothing about cars to be the BB-god at Hoonigan. Impressive!
Loving this build!!
Would've added a triangle between the rear crossmember and the side of the frames. Equilateral. It would stiffen up the chassis a hell of a lot, which i personally think would give the whole build advantage in any lateral situation. Plus, it's not like that area's used for anything. AND, with Dan's (+learner) crash frame, it would make a superior structure since the whole frame above would transmit forces down. Just a thought, if the rear gets dropped, adding that structure could be added really quick.
Have fun with that blue Loctite on a blower car those bolts will be backed out in no time flat. Get the red Loctite guys keep up the good work love this build.
