Security Guards in Philippines are pretty common; banks, grocery stores, malls, etc. Nothing to be alarm of or to be scared of, they are just there like a scarecrow 😊

Security guards are there for customers & owners protection.
In Cebu people there speak different language called Cebuano aka bisaya. While in Manila we speak tagalog which is one of the official languages of the Philippines. (English is also our official language.)

The walk isn't a mall. That taxi driver has no idea what he was saying. The biggest mall in the city is SM Seaside. But the best one is Ayala Centre Cebu. Also, armed security is common in pretty much every establishment in every city all over the country.

Wait you guys just noticed security with a gun? Lol they have them everywhere even at McDonald’s and jollibee. They got shotguns. It’s the norm. There’s a lot of guns in the Philippines just in general. 🤣

There are security guards becuase there are also thiefs everywhere so just be careful wherever you go,just dont walk while texting coz you know there's bad people may want to grab your phone.
