I never have figured out they mute the drums for a lip synch. It looks like Johnny is actually hitting those things, and that has to be audible in the studio. Do the people in the audience hear something different than what goes out over the air? I assume they could mess with the tapes before air time, but it must have been kind of annoying for the studio audience.
Would anyone happen to have the full episode? My dad was one of the dancers on this episode and I am desperately trying to find a clip to show him as a surprise.
