- The bike sat for a week at below freezing temps overnight, and barely above during daytime. I shook the bike back and forth to remix the fuel.
Using 20:1 synth-blend 2-cycle oil in 93oct fuel. The 'auto-release' choke works well. There is a different problem though.I figured it out and it was easy to fix.It was Not the fuel filter or debris in the carb.
I think we've all had the problem when breaking in our motors. The motor runs, but not right. It runs well, and then refuses to do it right again, and then runs right...
I Earned my nickname and have kept it to remind myself it's usually something simple that I missed. DUH.
A new Sparkplug can work wonders... - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Nice little neighborhood. Thanks for the ride bro I like the mirrors. I just got a new set myself.
Thanks. I do under the bars as the arms seem to always get in the way.(I edited this as They aren't 'wide angle' but give a wider view and it's clear.
Man 32 is literally freezing. You’re brave brotha😎 thanks for the ride🚴🏽💨
That whole bike is decked completely out! Super nice unique bike. Thanks for the ride!
Thanks Bri.
@@bryduhbikeguy 😎👍🏼
Thanks for the ride along man I appreciate it looked cold ❄ 😂be safe out there
NP David.You're welcome.It was 32f with 10mph wind in my face.Yay.
@@bryduhbikeguy to cold ❄ for me 😂
2 strokes are cold natured engines bry it sounded awesome wants it got fired up and warmed up thanks for sharing brother ride safe it's cold and freaking really windy here sapossod settle down after dark we were having 40 and 50 gusts come on spring lol
You must not be too far from me here in mid-Mich. Hope you're at least drier. It may get close to 40f in a day or 2 and I'll change the plug and do another ride on the same route to check for changes.
@@bryduhbikeguy what city in Mich.. I have lived in Detroit & Pt. Huron. mostly flat land good for 1- speed , motorized bikes.
Now I'm in mid FL. by Tampa . Best weather for all year riding.. other morning I was thinking of you ALL in the north with the snow and slushy roads.. miserable riding.
I was in 34* wind chill at 40mph was more than I wanted to calculate. I'm still trying to warm up.. freezing to DEATH is a real thing.. PEACE. GO SAFE.. P.S. I agree with the guy that said you need to get a good New pitan pin Bearing for your Big Bore.. clean piston and rings and replace the bearing on a regular maintenance schedule for maximum life. your machine is more economical than a Honda 70 keep it running Year round.. PEACE to you and have a great year..
Sidewalk pirate. Too cold bro. Thanks for the ride.
LoL.When I keep to the sidewalk, to avoid traffic, I keep the speed close to 12mph and cut onto lawns for anyone walking. That road beside me, that time of day, is nuts.
Brrrrrrr🥶
Hmmm, well you'll figure it. Maybe it is just the cold?
Cheap sparkplug from the kit. My NGKs fit in the head, but a wrench to tighten them won't.Only the kit's plug tool has room where they cast the fins.Waiting for warmth to go again.
Hey you wouldn't happen to remember where you got those fenders I wouldn't mind having a set of those would you send a link if you don't mind thank you.
I bought 2 sets at different times from 'Wish' about 3 years ago.I don't have a link, sorry. They're about $8-12 probably.I think they had a deal for $7 so I got the sets about 2 months apart for a total of 4 sets.
@@bryduhbikeguy ok cool thanx
Hi Josh: I found the set on Temu for $5.98. The link's too long to paste.(I tried).
Sounds like the idle screw is too rich
You're right.I checked the plug and it was dark with residue.Thnx.
Hey bud, I have a lot of experience with the iron sleeve 52mm motors. What is your goal or problem you are trying to overcome come with it? These are great motors but not good for a beginner that just wants to run a motor straight out of the box because they need a lot of little things to be a good runner. Not sure of your knowledge and technical abilities but if you are interested I can give some pointers to get it lined out. I LOVE THESE MOTORS for my daily bikes and I have well over 15k miles on my one I ride all the time, and many more to come. So let me know if I can help you out. Stay safe.
Thank you.I appreciate the help. I did all the port match, and ring gap correcting before I built it, but if I need further help I'll glad contact you.TY again. It's a Strong runner.
@@bryduhbikeguy no doubt, I love the 52mm iron sleeve motors. They get a bad rap for a good reason but once you look past all the bologna and fix the few things they run smooth, rev high, pull hard and run fast as hell.
How many miles do you ride 10 tooth drive sprocket before replacing it due to wear. I'm on a 47mm RUNWELL and I'm replacing 10 tooth sprocket at about 5.000 miles I use Lucas hub oil on the sprocket, clutch push - pin and bearing Lucas hub oil helps all those parts and chain, It's tacky so give it a try it'll save your parts from wearing quickly, axel hub bearings benefit
Also if these parts are rarely maintained hub oil is your helper. PEACE and GO SAFE.
I had a chain get sloppy and jam when I hit a set of bumps. It bent some teeth and broke 1.That's the only time I've had to change 1.That was after 3000 miles.I could see it was starting to wear but I guess my chain lines up straighter?.Thanks for the tip on the Lucas.I keep my clutch arm,pin and bearing packed with Molybdenum grease with a tablespoonful + of gear oil in the spring area for the bearings.@@josephmurray3583
@@josephmurray3583 I have never replaced one before, only time I was close was on my customer bike because he rides definitely less then me but still a lot. I found that he also greased his chain an unbelievable amount which made me wondering why his was wearing out, then; I figured it out. Yes he rides a lot but not as much and my sprocket was in WAY BETTER SHAPE, and he even greases it WAY more then I do BUT he never cleans it ever. He just reapplied the grease every couple of days over n over and NEVER cleaned it. And that’s why he wore his out so much riding less. If you don’t clean the chain in between applications then all your doing is making a sandpaper gooey mixture that will wear the metal down extremely prematurely. You don’t need to scrub it or anything but you do need wipe it off before you regrease it, and I only grease my chain maybe once a month. I apply a liberal amount and then I’m good for a while, and I wipe it off well with an old rag before I apply it again. I had him switch up the way he was doing it and to clean it and apply it less and he hasn’t had any issues with it since.
Thats so slow, 110cc are just horrid
I have a 56 tooth drive sprocket so I Can go slow.It hit 20mph easy, but I ride about 17-18mph . There hills and trails everywhere around Thanks for watching. When it warms up here I have another build that'll be much quicker.
