✨ Merry Christmas! ✨ This ambience video (story below ⬇️) was inspired by the nostalgia of the Christmas Eves from my childhood, and though I no longer attend church I love tradition and I still find religious symbols like this church and nativity scene peaceful and comforting this time of year.

Childhood Christmas time always had church involved but there was dunkin donuts and riding around town on Christmas eve to look at Christmas lights. I still go to church, although there was a gap of years that I fell away, but now I have raised my kids knowing about Christ and celebrating his birth and I carry on the tradition of riding around to look at Christmas lights and getting Dunkin Donuts. 😁
That’s a wonderful tradition. Hard to think of a better way to spend Christmas eating donuts and hunting for Good Christmas lights
My family didn't really celebrate growing up. Now I have my own family and we do. I love it. And more importantly my son loves it

Wow! This scene reminded me of how I'm not going to a Christmas Eve Midnight Mass this year. The service starts at 10pm and the sanctuary is decorated with poinsettia's and holly and evergreen garland and bows and candles. The warmth you feel as you walk inside, takes the chill of the night air from outside. Afterwards there is a reception of food and drinks. I got to taste Real Egg Nog when I was like 10-12years old. The kids would pick gifts from under the Christmas 🎄 tree in the Fellowship Hall. No peeking till Christmas morning. (Of course by now it's way past Midnight.) And if you're Really, really lucky, as you gather to leave for the night and gaze up to the sky to see a single, bright star 🌟 lighting up the night sky.
I'm in Massachusetts right now and it's snowing really bad outside with driving winds. It's 9:29 pm and I'm in bed under the covers all warm.

Christmas Eve has been and always will be my favorite day of the year. Rushing around getting last minute bits of food or gifts, visiting relatives, going to mass then finishing off the evening in our new cosy xmas jammys, drinking hot chocolate and opening one gift (from my gran who is now a great gran too) before bedtime. I always loved that day more than christmas day, even when I was a kid.
Same! I love Christmas Eve is the best. I have so many good memories of that day and night. The anticipation, final shopping day, holiday parties, church, foods, movies,... I could go on lol. Take care!
Sometimes I lose faith in myself and my capabilities and let myself get into a short state of sadness but I pray 🙏💓 next year I won't have these feelings of self doubt of "what if I can't do it or what would happen if I didn't try". I pray for certainty and a guiding light 🕯️ to know I'm not alone.
Christmas Eve was always my favorite day of the year when I was a kid. We weren’t like some families who were allowed to open any presents that day, but just the anticipation for Christmas morning, on top of Christmas Eve mass followed by Christmas cookies at home with my big family, watching a Christmas movie in the living room in front of a fire. And if it snowed that was a huge plus. Now as an adult it’s the same. I love Christmas Eve more than I love Christmas Day, because Christmas Eve is when the party really begins!
I love Christmas Eve best as well--the anticipation and magic all culminates on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day always feels like it's over too quickly but the Christmas Eve traditions can really be savored. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I was always alone , forgotten on these times , even my birthday. But I try not to let that sink me down into it.
Why I loved movies ,tv so much, helped give me company.
Why I watch movies already seen hundred times , big projector screen.

I hear you! I'm watching this screen, thinking of birthdays and Christmas when I was a kid. Those days are long dead for me. Family, happiness, etc at those times. I turn 43 in a week, the same age my dad died when I was 8. Ever since then music, movies and TV shows from Christmas keep the pilot light burning...

Every christmas eve me and my family go to church even tho santa is not real i like to think he is and as we leave the church and head home we listen to xmas music in the car and i cannot wait come morning. Actually the real meaning of Christmas goes back much further .It was a pagan celebration of the darkness, a year gone by and a new year to come.They would drag a huge log into their abode to burn for weeks ..the Yule log.
Christians then stole the celebration and altered the story to fit their agenda.If Jesus was real he was not born in December .You need only research a few basic facts. All proven fact . Never the less ,Merry Christmas ,Merry YULE ! PEACE TO YOU ALL.

Could you imagine how beautiful the Angel's sound like in heaven worshipping him? The Bible says it's like the sound of a rushing wind. So many praising and singing and glorifying him. thank you for your videos. this one is so special to me, if there are two things I love, its church bells and Christmas. The snow is perfect. When I was growing up we'd have snow more, now we don't get it so much anymore. this brings me back to simpler times

ahhh.... This is so nice. Thank you! It really brings back my childhood. I never really went to Church that often, but every Christmas my family and I would drive to church, listen to the choir singing Silent Night, get hot chocolate from the stands and talk with close friends. It all seems distant now. It felt so warm and comforting. It was so fun. After going to church I would ask my mom if Santa was going to come to our house when we got there since it was so late. Of course, she said no. We would go home and go to sleep. Waking up to an abundance of presents the next morning. I miss it. Thank you so incredibly much.

coashddjj2 The church is the Body of Christ and is where the Gospel is proclaimed and the holy sacraments are administered. It may be partially in the Roman Catholic Church as well. Probably not all of it though
