When the Grid Slammer is used as an ADDITIONAL overdrive layer on top of an existing gain sound, the results can be amazing. This sample showcases the wide range of additional gain layers the Grid Slammer can offer when run into an existing gain sound like the classic British Rock gain sound from the Royal Atlantic RA-100 in it's LO gain mode. The Gridslammer can add tasty saturation & gain without adding volume, OR - setting the level control higher will provide more gain AND a Volume Boost for stepping out on a solo or featured section.
Signal Chain: Bridge Position Humbucker of a Jackson DK-2 Guitar into the LO Gain Mode of a Royal Atlantic RA-100 Head and 4x12 Rectifier Standard Slant Cabinet. Mic'd with a Sennheiser 421 Mic (front) & SM-57 (rear).

I just received my mark v 25! Do you recommend me this pedal to get even better sounds? Or i should use another mesa pedal?

Congrats on your new Mark Five:25, chinessss - hope you're having fun with it! The Grid Slammer can be a great pedal for adding subtle amounts of gain, or using as is often seen in modern metal, to control bass and add some cut in the top end. If you are looking for something slightly more versatile, the Flux-Drive would be the next pedal up from the Grid Slammer to offer some extra gain and also independent bass and treble controls. If you want the clasic overdrive in front thing, go GridSlammer, if you're looking for that PLUS some extra stuff, check out the Flux-Drive. Thanks for your interest!

    Where is the slamming part?
It goes from bumble bee in a jar to a fart in a toilet stall.
I'm a fan of Boogies and own a couple of the smaller Mark V's and I'm looking to add a little extra to the front end but y'all are not doing yourselves any favors with this video.

***** It's in the description, if you missed it; The bridge pickup was used so it's trebly. :)
